The spoilers seem to be hitting hard now. I fear it's only a matter of time before some inconsiderate newb with a join date of June 2012 fails to use the spoiler tags and ruins some major plot point for a handful of unsuspecting freaks. I'm sure that Batman knows this. I'm betting that the electric currents function in a similar fashion as jets in that he uses them to regulate his speed and momentum. When that fails: he uses his grappling gun.
