Hey guys, did Selina have the pearl necklace on at the end at the cafe? Too tired to remember.

Loved the movie - came out of my Dallas, Tx theater and heard about the tragedy in Colorado. RIP to those that died - very sad. No one should die seeing a movie

Absolutely shocking news. Sickening it really is.

Anyway, glad to hear you lot are enjoying the movie, I can't wait to see it tomorrow night.

Terrible terrible tragedy about the shooting :(

The film however, I couldn't have asked for a more fitting conclusion, in beyond words at the moment

Void did cry, a lot.

:( and  Maybe I'm just getting hardend with age or it's from having a kid but I gotta side with Ra's on this bastard. Shame an officer didn't get a little on the job training in lethal force. Hope he gets the death sentence if CO has one...

You must gather your thought! :lecture

:monkey2 Voidcat needs a tissue... :lol

I saw this last night @12:10 and like i said it was FKN EPIC!!!! :panic: In all its glory it was the best movie i have ever seen . Everything Nolan has done with this was 10x on a bigger scale than TDK . He ended the triligy with a bang and left me feeling that the story is now complete , no loose ends .

I like how he left it for a sequal , if he ever wanted to come back and make some Batman films .
So Bruce is alive , so that means Batman can return even after "Robin" has taken over fighting crime in Gotham . Possible Batman & Robin?

Bane
was a complete badass in all his badassness . I hate to say it but after watching hime for about an hour , i felt he made the Joker look like an amateur rookie villian .

A small thing
I loved is how Batman finally told Gordon who he was, that was a great feeling when he said "you put your jacket on a little boy for comfort" or something like that.

I thought i was gunna hate Catwoman , but i honestly like her in this , Anne did a great job IMO , very believable.

Sad to see the possibility
that Fox may have died

The Ban vs Bats in the sewer was a freaking awesome scene and i was feeling really bad for Bats getting his ass kicked , it was a sad scene

The whole
prison sequence was FKN awesome , i got chills when Bruce began to climb outta the hole

So after i go back and see this in IMAX , i will probably have more to say , until then . I give it a strong 10/10 all the way :thud:

:clap

Regarding the horrible tragedy, I think it is too soon to jump to any conclusion about his motive, but whether or not he targeted TDKR just because it was a big movie or because he was he was an obsessed Nolan fan, it is really unfair to pin his actions on Nolan fandom in general. EVERY "group" (most loose definition for group here--as in people who share a common interest) has bad people. When one (or even a few) members of that group do something insane, even if their motive is clearly tied to their membership in that group, is it fair to spread the blame and suspicion to the other members of the group? A cop abuses his badge authority and rapes a woman, or shoots an unarmed person who is surrendered, or any story you want to rip from the headlines. I guess therefore, cops are potential rapists and murderers, because they are cops.

I dunno lowbrow, you tell me. There weren't shootings at Avengers midnight showings, were there? :cuckoo:

Different level of fans. Avengers fans know how to have fun and just flamed negative reviews. Nolan nutbags are obsessed and posted death threats for negative reviews. Educate yourself a bit on what's going on so you don't seem so divvy next time you post.

Sounds like it was an attendee who got frustrated with the crowd. Doesn't sound like someone who hated the film. He shot a baby point blank.
Even assuming he was the hardest-core "Nolancompoop" in the world, you are painting with a VERY broad brush there, because of one guy's actions. Let's follow your logic to other situations. The Columbine killers loved the Matrix. Therefore, Matrix fans take this too seriously and are potentially dangerous. The Norway killer admits he used COD as a training tool. Therefore, COD gamers are prone to go on killing sprees.

Not really, because ASM fanboys, regardless of how douchy, don't post death threats about negative reviews. They just gang up, play limp biscuit with each other, cry and troll. The Nolan fans are the ones who took this ____ to a way different level. First RT has to deal with the death threat ____, and now this.
If I go on the ASM and Avengers Rotten Tomatoes right now, and post death threats directed at those who gave negative reviews, does that mean I am representative of ASM and Avengers fans? What if it wasn't just me...what if a dozen of us did it, or a hundred?

Still getting the same ____ from the NBC affiliates stating he stood up in the theatre and started shooting attendees. :huh

:slap And I see this tomorrow morning with my 4-year-old daughter. :(

So I guess we're not going to hear any reviews, positive or negative from you about this movie until it's out on Blu-ray/DVD right? Or until you get a pirated copy. I mean, if you SERIOUSLY think this is not an isolated incident, and there are unstable Nolan fans all over that may possibly take to killing people over this movie, well then, there is NO WAY you'd risk yourself or especially your daughter to see it in public, right?

Yeah, I'm not seeing this flick in IMAX tomorrow. No thanks. I'll see it in 4 weeks. I have no need to risk my ____ing life over this movie.

Which I enjoyed. I guess I should talk about the flick for a second.

Bane was lame, and I loved the ending,
Celtic I agree with most of the stuff you've said regarding this incident, except this. Why would seeing it in 4 weeks be any safer than seeing it tomorrow? If there are other potentially crazy and murderous TDKR-motivated people out there, would they be any less homicidal in 4 weeks than they are today? It's never going to be guaranteed safe out there in the world. We should all just stay shut in our homes rather than risk actually living our lives. Cliche statement rings true here: "If you live in fear, the terrorists (crazies) have won."

____ing Nolancompoops. I seriously hope this ____ affects the box office to send a clear message how idiotic this ____ has gotten with these pathetic losers. Mother____ers shot a baby at close range.
I absolutely share your anger at the specific shooter. But I really apprieciate this post, because as absurd as it is, it most honestly shows your true feeling. Careful, your kneejerk bias against Nolan/his fans is showing here. You WANT this movie badly because of a lunatic? All of the people that worked hard on this film....you want their hard work NOT to earn as much as it might've, because of this one guy's actions? A more legit reason would be if you wanted it to do badly because you think the film itself sucked. Why not just admit the truth man, you want this film's box office to be negatively affected, period...doesn't matter much which factor hurts its box office, as long as its box office gets hurt.

Seriously?! You need to see some more movies than mate. That's just crazy talk.
What is this? "The Cult of Nolan".
It's his opinion that it's the best movie he has seen in his life. In your opinion, what is the best movie ever? I guess that makes you a member of the Cult of _______ director then, right?

Watching it on BBC news right now. It does seem to be connected to the movie itself. They say he was wearing all black, with googles and a riot mask of some kind, a bullet vest and he walked into the middle of the screen. Honestly, kevlar, black outfit, mask/goggles, tear gas at a Batman midnight showing? That doesn't sound too random IMO.

Sounds like a Bat freak - nut job, of some kind. Especially after all the internet death threats and BS last week.
Awful, awful to see this type of ____ happen. It's even scarier because it's so random. Lets hope there are no copy cat incidents.
Considering the subject matter of these movies, it's a real concern. I would imagine the police think so too.
I guess the heavily armored, black wearing, masked robbers of the North Hollywood shootout in 1997 were Batman fans too? Along with every killer that ever planned it out and equipped and dressed themselves similarly?

Well, I have tickets to see this at 9:30pm tonight... but because of the idiot in Colorado my girl has been sent to San Diego to chase the story (yes, she's a Lois Lane for CBS news) so now I have no idea when I'll see this.

My condolences to the families of the victims. I hope this idiot burns.

I don't get to see it until tomorrow, altho I may wait until Monday.
That's really shocking about the massacre in Colorado. What a sick person. What was the motive? Anyone heard anything? I just woke up.I heard they cancelled the premiere in Paris last after Nolan and the cast, learned of the shooting.

Wow, just drove by my movie theater... there was a line going across the bloc and it's only 11am. I guess you have to get there early if you want good seats. I was an hour early for the Avengers and it was still not enough... will keep that in mind this time!

I absolutely love how Nolan portrayed the scene of Bane breaking Batman's Back.....Iconic!!!!

Really enjoyed the ending and how Blake is revealed as Robin...even though It was evident throughout the movie, just needed confirmation.

I absolutely love how Nolan portrayed the scene of Bane breaking Batman's Back.....Iconic!!!!

:yess::exactly::goodpost: I thought that was great , only the "NERDS" in the theater cheered when he did that :lol

No one else knew that it was a homage to the comic

I see young babies at the movies all the time, most of the time they just sleep.

I would rather bring my baby than leave him at home unless its with someone who has raised kids. its just like going to a restaurant.

I really do not see any problem with it....... just my opinion.

You are obviously not a parent. Whether you see it all the time is irrelevant. It IS bad parenting and irresponsible. As a parent you make sacrifices. One is clearly missing out on late night adventures unless you have someone to watch your kid.

That's the last I will comment on it.

o_O Amazing how a baby can sleep through a pounding soundtrack/film theatre.

Marathon seen. :yess:

I've seen BB/TDK many many times yet it was awesome seeing it lastnight up on the big screen again. Man do those movies go down smooth.

Still not ready to share my thoughts on TDKR, I need coffee.
