With Bruce Wayne's paranoia and surveillance (keeping tabs on Rachel, suspicious of Dent) on the city growing combined with the impact the Joker has had on him, I just don't see him ever quitting.

Actually, as someone pointed out to me earlier because I forgot too, Bruce was in the prison because he was trying to infiltrate a group who was stealing Wayne Tech merchandise. I think it was TVs.

He wasn't infiltrating to stop them. He was living like a criminal to try and understand them. Though I guess that also leads to trying to stop them.

I have a feeling that character won't show up again. His knowledge could be written out of the plot by Reese simply stating that he was just looking for attention and was making up the whole story. After all, "Batman" did save him from the Joker.
