Re: The Dark Knight Rises

His current suit is black obviously for stealth, what benefit would it be to him by making it grey??:lol ..changing the suit from black to grey would not work with the realistic Nolan batman imo.
Something's should be left in the comics.

Actually just to play devil's advocate here, grey is actually better for stealth than black. In the dark, grey becomes hidden, wheras black creates a well defined sillhouette that is easy to spot.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

He already knows what he is doing. And he knows that it is unrealistic for him to assume that he is never going to get shot or stabbed, no matter how good of a fighter he is. He needs the padding as protection.

If you want him to go towards a thinner material to make him look more like he does in the comics, then im sorry to say but that is never going to happen.

:exactly: He need's to protect himself first so he can protect Gotham.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

still needs to drop some of the armor, by this time batman should know what he's doing

As shadow said this is based on the real world not batman the comics in that he always gets the drop with very rarely getting hurt. I enjoy reading my batman comics but I dont really want my movie batman running around in basically spandex.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I'm pretty sure the costume he wears in the comics isn't spandex. It's a kevlar type material that permits ease of movement and defense against most weapons, though not bullets. Anything that would deflect a shot would essentially turn the man into a gun and he wouldn't take that kind of chance with the lives around him.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

A non-armored Batman and how well the audience would receive it is always going to be heavily debated. Either way, its not going to happen anytime soon, and I'd be surprised if it ever does. We've had far too many armored Batman movies for me to see someone breaking that mold.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Variety is reporting JGL to play Alberto Falcone:

Works for me.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Man, Guy Pierce missed the party invite(s). And he was in Nolan's best movie. The heck?

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

That pretty much confirms Talia will be in this (theme of coming full circle) and it also sets up an interesting relationship with Selina Kyle...
