If Joseph Gordon Levitt does play Alberto Falcone could that mean another cameo for scarecrow?, as i'm sure he will want a bit of revenge for his father.

Yeah, I think Scarecrow will be in it.
Marion as Talia would actually be pretty nice. She was quite the villain-ess in Inception.

I'd prefer they left Talia and the LOS out of this all together.
With JGL as Alberto, I'd rather see Cottilard (if she does join the cast) used as Sofia Falcone.
I'm not really worried about it, but if some of the bigger name talent signing on to TDKR are used in smaller supporting roles, I think there's less chance of a Spiderman3 debacle. Clearly these actors love working with the guy and are willing to help him out even if the parts are small.
I'd like to see Scarecrow again but I'm not convinced he'll be used since they wrapped up his loose end from Begins by capturing him in TDK. Something from Arkham would be cool though...

I really don't think peoplee need to be worried about a Spiderman 3 scenario, I mean seriously, this is Nolan we're talking about... he has a bit of a track record over the last decade or so, don't think he's suddenly gonna make a cramped ____ty film with no character development!

That's the thing, I hope that Bane is used in a stand-alone way and not as a lackey or hired gun. The character has so much potential to be a true challenge to Batman, I don't want him to be reduced at all to fit in Talia. I guess the question is how do you tie Bane to Batman....

Buried in the news that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is officially on board as mob scion Alberto Falcone is the fact that Nolan is casting about for a "street-smart Gotham girl." Now, who could that be?
According to Variety, director Christopher Nolan has his eye on Juno Temple (Year One) to play the role of that Gotham girl. Of course, there are plenty of ways to employ an adolescent in Nolan's Bat-verse. Actually, no, there aren't. Given that description, Temple can't be playing Talia al Ghul, and, unless The Dark Knight Rises skips ahead at least 10 years in time, Barbara Gordon wouldn't be old enough to be Batgirl.
So, will Temple be playing a random kid on the street or Batman's Number One?
And it's not as if there's no precedent for a female Robin (see: Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns). Besides, Leach and Hood notwithstanding, Robin is a girl's name.

She'll be playing Catwoman's protege. I forget her name but she even takes over for Selina as catwoman at some point in the comics. We were talking about it a few days ago when it was posted and someone mentioned the name if you want to go back a few.
