A youth as a costumed character seems so out of place for Nolan. I think she's more likely to play the daughter of someone. Maybe Alfred's niece.

I hope so. It would be a big missed opportunity otherwise. I really hope they explain where Alberto was during the leadership vacuum of the Faclone crime family in TDK though. IMO it would have been wiser to just use Roman Sionis instead of Alberto at all.

150% chance that this is never going to happen (and I wouldn't want it to) but I saw these on the spawn boards and thought they were cool in a "wow, I always thought he looked like Heath, but this is creepy," kinda way.

I think JGL as Joker could work. Nolan knows what he's doing, especially if there's a critical scene involving the Joker. I don't think it'd be an insult to Heath, but a tribute almost, and you know they would be totally respectful to what came before. I could see a small part in 3, I really could.

I was the one who posted those. Yeah, I doubt he will play the Joker, but you can never be 150% sure

I wonder why Nolan and co are being so hush hush about his role though...I mean they announced Bane and Selina/Catwoman right away, you'd think they'd do the same for JGL's character...

Also, as much as I loved Ledgers Joker and out of absolutely NO disrespect to Ledger and family, but the Joker (as a character/entity) is larger than Heath. It's a shame to just throw him away without giving him a proper ending. But that's just my opinion. So, for me, I would be totally open and ok with JGL taking on the Joker role for this final film to tie it all up. With Ledgers dedication to his roles and film (especially TDK) I would think he wouldn't want it any other way.

Agreed, although there is a ton of misdirection between Variety, WB and EW....who knows.

I'd be fine if he brings the character back in a small role with JGL although I doubt we'll see it.

I'm guessing (hoping) the only reason the filmmakers are being hush hush about JGL's role is because it is a significant (and awesome) role.
