When everybody who isn't named "mmmmBrains" were discussing the casting news (01-19-2011):

The Studio and Chris confirmed those casting announcements today.

I always knew/figured there would be a Catwoman, but Bane threw me. Hardy will be great.

Christopher Nolan stated, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story.”

In addition, Tom Hardy has been set to play Bane. Nolan said, “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”

Huh!?

Heath Ledger died from an overdose, yes. But it was as a result of abusing prescription drugs. Specifically a mix of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine.

4 of which are NOT for insomnia.

Please tell me you didn't know that, because you talk as if he was simply trying to treat insomnia. Which he wasn't. Considering the amount of different drugs in his system during autopsy.
