What if Man of Steel is better than any Batman movie???????????????????????????????? You know it probably will be action-wise by default, but what if? Don't tell me ur too much of a fanboy of Batman to think the original superhero can't sneak up and snatch that s__t from him. Plus, Nolan is overseeing it too so...

BTW im not a Superman fanboy, but the character deserves respect for the legacy he started.

not only that but, he has like almost every power there is, he cannot be defeated, and he doesn't really have any famous villains Except for Luthor, Superman saving someone is not as cool as Batman saving someone
or fighting someone for that matter, I know Superman is iconic and important in pop culture, but I just never saw the appeal,

If theres one thing Batman has a huge advantage over Superman in...its Damage control. Superman destroys cities when he's fighting people .

So we're comparing trilogies now to a film that only has a trailer thus far? You want an accurate and fair comparison? Here you go...


Nolan's Batman has three films, and so does every other series in existence that's a trilogy(period)

I'm just screwing around. But hey, there's a solid past history to judge how well the third installments are remembered in trilogies. Just sayin....

I forgot to add At World's End.

I know what you mean, however, I love ROFJ and I love AWE. I ever liked BTF3.

None of those films you listed are comparable to the greatness that Nolan always brings to the table. Not even those classic films from those trilogies can touch the likes of a film by Christopher Nolan.

This series, soon to be motion picture film trilogy will raise the bar in what people consider to be a high caliber film. In fact, judging by the trailer alone it has already transcended beyond it. Anything like Star Wars, previous Batman films, Lord of the Rings or anything that you list, or think of listing can never come close.

You are just a child. When you are a man and have tasteful sensibilities when it comes to cinema, Nolan films will be the ones you seek and the ones that will comfort you. Then and only then will you realize and appreciate what entertainment and story telling really is.

This Batman trilogy will be man kind's greatest achievement that any film after it will no longer matter. For you see, no mere human can or will be able to conceive such an acclaimed, thought provoking, piece of art once you see what comes to be on July 20th 2012.

There is no LIFE after Nolan's Batman.

haha, that reminds me of Dragon Ball Z, where people beat each other to a pulp but no one get really hurt or anything lol,

I mean, I am not a superman hater, I am looking forward the new movie,
but the way i see it, Superman's disguise is a pair of glasses....
he is supposed to be this all American hero but he is an immigrant alien, he can turn back time, no one can really beat him, cannot die, I mean,

on the other hand, batman is vulnerable, batman has mental issues, demons, I guess there is more Depth to Batman,

I do feel that his secret identity is the stupidest thing i've ever seen. I hated Superman when I was younger because my brother always threw everything he did in my face, and always talked about how Superman would beat the living hell out of characters like Batman and Spiderman.

After a ton of years, I started looking at Superman for what he is, and what he can do. I just know for a fact that he can provide the best fight scenes out of any superhero if done right. The term "Epic" would have a new meaning if the right director made a fight Between Superman and Darkseid/Doomsday, etc. Now, providing the best story? Idk, but i'm sure someone, maybe Snyder, can pull it off.

Your list lost alot of credibility with Transformers being anywhere near it.. Donnie Darko is 10000000000000x better than any of the Bay Transformer movies. Sure, DOTM had its "lets blow this s__t up" moments, but the story was pathetic just like the other two.
