Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I've seen that Bale pose before....

Wrong pose. He's Tebowing.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

You can see part of the set in the second photo. Must be unedited. Love the pose though, wish my HT's were that flexible.

Here's the original photo used for the art.

I think these photos show the direction hot toys may go for their new Batman figure(s). It'll still have the rubber like plates, or something similar to it, but the material seperating the plates will be made of a flexible material similar to Spidermans outfit. The plates all over suit will be more like decoration on top of the flexible suit, instead of it being a full rubber suit. It'll allow a far greater range of movement, or Hot toys may say screw it and stick to DAT RUBBER.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Nope. It was charming. Why so goddamn serious.

Plus, it looked nice too. Good lighting.

I like the Bane Cook video. :lol The Alfred bits crack me up. Plus I've always hated Dane Cook, so there you go.

yeah but making fun of dane cook hasto be the lamest thing ever. i think the key of awesome could have done something better than dane cook, that doesnt even make sense lol.

Won't happen at 1/6, if it was going to, they would have done so for the Keaton Batman and they continued to use solid rubber suits. The Keaton costume would have allowed similar construction. For mass production, it's just a lot cheaper to cast solid pieces and then paint them a bit. I think it comes down to complexity of production more than anything. I'm sure if Spidey was too hard to do with cloth, he'd have been a rubber suit too. TDK suit built like the film suit would be a lot of work in production.

We may see it at 1/4 scale for TDKR.

Medicom did it with their old BB figures... and the 1st hot toys BB figure also had a similar construction of the REAL 89 suit. pleather with armor bits. i dont see why HT can't do it again with more sophistication this time around.

I don't question if they could pull it off, it's what's easiest in production. HT has to keep their cost down because they're already pushing it with people on price per figure, and it's just easier to slap together a figure made up of rubber shirt and pants. They also like to get their figures out quick, though it doesn't always work out that way, and more complicated design means slower production.

Dane Cook is a stupid piece of ____. :lol

He's just a ****** with a microphone.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

The Key of Awesome makes some of the most asstarded videos ever. Dane Cook isn't even funny, but I'd rather watch his stand up's then that horrible heap of video.

Yeah I agree.

The college humor videos are better IMO.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Good. I'm going to keep defending it to make you angry. :lol
