Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Just thought the pic was cool. Don't think it really depicts Bane that much. Considering in comics he rarely showed face other than to his crew & TDKR isn't out yet. But still thought it looked shnazzy :p

The illustration is cool but the info is crap. Batman tells the truth? Really? That's a crock of bat guano. Most of that info is. Overanalyzing at it's best.

The Joker is Batman's antithesis. Period.

Agreed. :exactly: But the picture is pretty damn cool :lecture

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Every time I see your username I think of the Joker saying "Rack em' up, Rack em' up" was that your intention? :lol

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I'll probably be wrong, but I'm calling it now. A Robinesque/Grayson character will be in this film. I think John Blake is going to be Nolan's answer to Robin, the boy wonder without him wearing a mask or green and red tights.

It's now official that the character indeed has a figure.

Pretty obscure choice for a simple, secondary, ordinary character. I think there's more to him that meets the eye. If he didn't get a figure, I wouldn't have given it any thought, but this changes things. Given the fact that this cop guy has two toys so far, a figurine and a full-fledged action figure, I gotta assume he's going to be a Robinesque/Grayson type character for Batman. Why else would such a secondary character get a toy like this?

They never made Alfred, Gordon, Fox, Rachel Dawes, Ramirez or even Ras Al Ghul for the Batman Begins/Dark Knight toy lines (excluding the 5" fake Ras and Ducard).

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Well I think it's neat they're making an Alfred... I still would like to have a Liam Ras

You may be right about Blake ... though I think they may skip Robin and jump directly to Nightwing. Partner/successor rather than sidekick. Grayson is a cop in Bludhaven in the comics ... so the cop thing has basis.

Gah... Alfred... Now I'm tempted to get Alfred, Gordon, Bane, and Catwoman. If they make Ra's and Lucius, I'm doing it. If not, screw it.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Never for a second had any doubt that John Blake is actually a major player in the plot whether good or bad.

Really cool to see those figs!

Indeed that was the intention behind my username :hi5:

I tend to say the line out loud every time I see his name :lol

This is FREAKY. Sounds almost exactly like Heath's Joker voice!

Well that is eerie...
