Re: The Dark Knight Rises

That's too similar to be a coincidence. My guess is Ledger copied it. Must've seen interviews and said to himself ... "if Joker existed, he'd sound exactly like this drugged-out psycho."

The irony....:(

Would be my guess as well

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

They were both in Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I'll probably be wrong, but I'm calling it now. A Robinesque/Grayson character will be in this film. I think John Blake is going to be Nolan's answer to Robin, the boy wonder without him wearing a mask or green and red tights.

It's now official that the character indeed has a figure.

Pretty obscure choice for a simple, secondary, ordinary character. I think there's more to him that meets the eye. If he didn't get a figure, I wouldn't have given it any thought, but this changes things. Given the fact that this cop guy has two toys so far, a figurine and a full-fledged action figure, I gotta assume he's going to be a Robinesque/Grayson type character for Batman. Why else would such a secondary character get a toy like this?

They never made Alfred, Gordon, Fox, Rachel Dawes, Ramirez or even Ras Al Ghul for the Batman Begins/Dark Knight toy lines (excluding the 5" fake Ras and Ducard).

That would be so stupid. Just make him a villain in disguise instead of a more realitic robin nonsense.

If the rumors on Cotillard's character are true, why would they have Levitt play another villain? And another undercover villain? I don't think so. They've already got Bane, Catwoman,
Talia. Maybe even Ras resurrected.

How many major villains do they need?

I'm almost certain he'll be an ally. Whether he's a Nolanized Grayson or not, I don't know. That seems the only possible ally big enough to warrant such a big name actor, though.

If he's really gonna bring in Grayson just to end the series like that, I'd rather not have him in it in the first place. For a character thats been around 99.9% of the time that Batman has, he deserves better than such bull___tery.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Heath Ledger as The Joker as Black Mask as The Riddler as Jason Todd as Wiener Grayson as Robin as Nightwing as Azrael as The New Batman as John Blake.

You're right, he's really a transformer.
