That's because there is absolutely no difference. It's the exact same suit used in TDK.

That image is also a cgi model btw.

They're not changing the look of the suit unfortunately. What I took away from her comments was that it would be an unseen, functional change in the story/real life, not a design or visual one.

He's basically like R2-D3 now. Maybe he'll have rockets coming out of his arms this time. We know how stupidly practical they make Batman now, I wouldn't be surprised if his ears fire rockets. You laugh but he had 12 arm blades that fired and instead of claws Catwoman has lethal spikes as high heals.

I was really hoping to get another (back to basics) take on the batsuit out of this movie. Oh well.

I'm fine with no change in the movie costume, it's the freaking HT figure I want changed to better represent his agile movements.

For the movie I just want a great story, if a new suit helps acheive that and move the story along then great.

Batman's suit > Story

Who goes to see a Batman film for the actual story? It's all about the suit and new villains, baby!



Nah, kidding of course (well, sort of) but it would have been nice if they followed the tradition of having a new suit for every film. I don't see why we couldn't have gotten both, cool visual characters and a great story. The suit along with a new vehicle was always the highlight of a Batman film project prior to a films release for me. I loved how the Begins suit was featured in TDK and how the hype officially started with "Batman's new suit" and the Batpod in 2007.

With this we got none of that. Same old suit that they could have easily improved upon. I guess they put their creativity and budget towards Bane and Catwoman . . . oh wait.
