Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Tell me that isn't from the Begins poster, or that isn't Jim Lee's Batman image from above (symbol, cape hanging to the left shoulder etc.), and the cowl from the teaser.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I'm pretty convinced that this is the basic outline as it brings things full circle:

Ra's is still alive and/or Talia runs the League of Shadows.

BANE is what Batman/Bruce SHOULD'VE been. He was trained by the LoS and unlike Bruce, he actually follows through with "destroying evil" even if it means taking out the good guys too. Of course, a priority is put out on Gotham and part of the reason for allowing all the inmates out to cause trouble and distract Batman is that it'll be easier to destroy everyone in the city.

Catwoman is out running amuck, probably comes around in the end and helps Batman.

Batman probably dies, sacrificing himself to save the city, is labeled a hero.

Turns out Batman was actually displaced through time after he dies and returns to past eras of Batmen. Cave Batman, Pirate Batman....oh wait, now I'm getting mixed up with Final Crisis.

I think Batman will be recast for any possible JLA movie. Though I think DC should have several more successful movies before they attempt such a thing. Their various heroes haven't been doing so well lately.

yeah Bane being what Batman should have been I agree I could see that happening, I kept thinking what if Bane is injured by Bruce actions in the first one, I mean, it would mean that Bruce was responsible, full circle

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I go a month and a half without watching the trailers/prologue. Then when I finally do get around to watching them, I get ____ing pumped all over again. We're getting close! :yess:
Only, 112 days, 2 hours, 2 minutes and 29 seconds! :panic::panic::yess:
"When Gotham is ashes, you have my permission to die" <---- Makes my pants shorter everytime.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

^^^

I'll give the person who made that one thing, they're just like WB with their lack of Batman in the trailers. :lol

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

The best fan made trailer is quite easily the prestige version, probably the best fan made trailer I've ever seen

Not only is that good, but mkaes you wonder, did the writing team consider that line from Prestige when crafting the arc of Batman over these movies, as it fits so well.
