Runtime 2 hours and 40 minutes?

The official runtime for The Dark Knight Rises has been revealed thanks to the Australian Event Cinemas website. While this hasn’t been confirmed by the studio, it’s a safe bet that this is in fact the real runtime for the film.

60+ minutes of IMAX footage?

When Mr. Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" opens July 20, it will contain the most IMAX footage ever for a Hollywood feature, more than one hour's worth.

I'm still thinking what Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Role will be. It might be another surprise Nolan has up his sleeve. He's not a B-lister Hollywood actor, but he seems to be playing a 'minor' role in the film.

I thought the entire movie was going to be Imax shot.

So in essence only Bane scenes will be in Imax format to make Harding look like a formidable opponent, very smart there.

Knowlan knows his stuff.

Also, something caught my eye looking at this pair of gifs.

Notice how in both of them Bane is climbing up stairs to confront Batman.

While in the first one, Batman looks completely finished, and about to be beaten badly, in the second, Batman looks really pissed off and actually even throws the first punch. Nice little parallel there, I think this confirms to me the first is from Batman and Bane's first encounter, and the 2nd is probably from their last.

Also, I love the parallel between those encounters. Never really realized Bane was going up steps. Still can't really tell if he is but now that you said it, I can definitely see it.
