Re: The Dark Knight Rises

That poster is pretty awful - uninspired & boring and looks fan made.
WB seems to really be dialing in the marketing so far - pretty disappointing.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

That's just fit, not fit and skinny.

Maybe right, but there aren't clear boundaries though. That's definitely "skinny" by American standards (we're fatties :monkey1)

But seriously, what is "skinny" but a relative statement? As a description, it doesn't carry quite the same connotation of a measurement as underweight (which implies they are unhealthy). Some may look skinny, but in reality be a healthy weight and bmi.

Anne Hathaway looks "skinny" to me, and I'm not a doctor, but she doesn't look to be unhealthily underweight to me, she just seems to be a girl with a thin frame.

I disagree. She looks like one of those Hollywood starlets that starves herself to fit some stupid misguided concept of "fit."

Maybe you guys are right. Maybe she is starving herself, as I said, I'm not qualified to diagnose especially from a few pictures, just saying, I've known plenty of "healthy" people with high metabolisms that can't seem to put much meat on their bones, no matter how much they eat.

I'm one of those :lol

my ex was 100 pounds, she would eat more than me sometimes, never gained weight :dunno

I'm one of those too. When I work out I have to drink serious protein shakes just to keep the weight on. Used to down a high-protein Ensure before I went to bed.

Same here. I'm about 5'8" and my average weight has been at or below 120 pounds throughout my early twenties, dropping to as low as 105 when I have been sick a few times. People in my life (including ex girlfriends) have made fun of and attacked me for this frequently. I used to let it affect me. I would buy and wear clothing that was too big for me in some desperate attempt to feel more normal about myself and to fit in. I would try stuffing my face to gain weight, with the only result being stomach aches. Then one day I realized I just needed to make the most of it and embrace who and what I am. Now I wear small men's sizes that cling to my slender frame, and I no longer look like a little kid masquerading around in his father's wardrobe. :p

I'm 5 "7 and for a long time didn't weigh more than 110... after getting married it's gone up to 125 over a couple of years, but still probably 10 pounds or so less than average for my height, but i've never really been too bothered by it

Good to hear your no longer bothered by it either :wave
