They left out The Prestige. No buy. NO BUY.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Ew, Batman on the same covers as Inception. Tainted.

DO NOT WANT.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Mann.. If it had Prestige...

I don't really need all that extra stuff and extra copies of the films but I do want that book

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Don't they usually wait until the director is dead and completed a full body of work to do this kinda thing?

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I like how they cheaped out with the included movie ticket voucher. $8. That's matinee price, with the loud teenagers and babies. Thanks, WB!

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Completely uninspired, IMHO. Most of the fan-made ones were more interesting and creative than this:

Yeah. I can't believe it took them this long to release that. It's like they grabbed it off some fanart thread. :slap

I agree, this sucks, is going to scream Nolanites' wet dream, plus, what about when he makes more movies? another set?

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Looks like Batman and Bane are having a farting duel.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

The title was a lazy choice. The Dark Knight was an interesting choice as the first Batman film to not feature his name in the title. The Dark Knight Rises just slaps another word on there and feels like a retread. It takes what was unique about TDK and makes it common by repetition. The marketing campaign so far has had a similar lack of originality. It just feels like I'm getting ready to see The Dark Knight again, but this time without Heath Ledger.

Hopefully, the finished product will blow me out of the water, but my expectations simply aren't up where they ought to be for this movie. It just feels like WB drove a truck full of money up to Christopher Nolan's house and he phoned in a carbon copy of the last movie so they would give him a guaranteed greenlight on whatever he wants to do next.

Psshhhtt, they should know by now that any self respecting Nolanite will pay the $15-20 for a Midnight IMAX ticket.:lecture

No Prestige? Sux.

I wonder if TDK has better special features in this set......

so there is no prestige but there is Insomnia... that movie sucked so bad it almost made me fall asleep and i couldnt even finish it,it really sucked

That's funny... most of the complaints I've read about the marketing are about it not being like TDK's. :lol

I really don't understand how you're seeing it the way you are. :dunno It feels very different to me.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
