I really think Aishwarya Rai would be an amazing Talia...

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Hugo Strange, Killer Croc, Talia AND Black Mask to appear in TDKR?

Taking it with a major handful of salt:

https://www.soundonsight.org/leaked-script-for-the-dark-knight-rises-reveals-the-villains/

A leaked copy of the script for The Dark Knight Rises, the third and final Batman film from director Christopher Nolan, has found its way online. Before quickly being removed, Comic Book Movie managed to grab some of the details, which listed Dr. Hugo Strange, Killer Croc, Black Mask and Talia al Ghul as the main villains to appear in the film.

Here is what Comic Book Movie had to say:

“The female lead is Talia al Ghul. And Sarah Essen, and Bullock is in the film. Dr. Hugo Strange is the main villain, Black Mask replaces Salvatore Ramoni, and Black Mask recruits Killer Croc as the muscles to take down the bat, Killer Croc is known to be a psychopathic killer with a skin diseased reptile function skinned, who’s an expert in hand to hand combat and extremely agile. Oh and that’s not a lot of villains because everything ties in perfectly. Let me give you guys a slight summary of how the villains all fit together:

* Black Mask takes over Gotham’s criminal underworld replacing Salvatore Ramoni
* Dr. Hugo Strange is the main villain of the movie
* Talia al Ghul wants revenge on Bruce Wayne
* Killer Croc is just the meathead to takedown the batman

None of this has been confirmed by Warner Bros. but it is interesting that they were so quick to remove the script from the net. Back in 2008, The Dark Knight screenplay was said to have been the most sought after script of the year. The security on the set of The Dark Knight was so tight that apparently the only copies of the script were kept in a vault. Only five weeks into the release of the movie did the script make its way online. Based on that fact, I find it hard to believe that Nolan wouldn’t take the same precautions with his latest film but everything seems to indicate that it was indeed the real thing.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Every fanboy wet dream rolled convienatly into one "leaked" script.

Too good to be true. At this point how many scripts can there even be, maybe one for Nolan, one for his bro, and one for the studio?

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Probably as fake as the screen treatment 'Star Wars Episode III "fall of the republic"' all those years ago.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Sounds to good to be truth, Nolan has said he only wants a villian or two, that sounds like a lot of action, with all the characters involved, like a fast pased Spiderman 3, will have to wait and see!!

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Today, supposed script details leaked for Christopher Nolan's long-awaited The Dark Knight Rises. While the details consisted of 'Black Mask' becoming the new mafia boss, 'Killer Croc' being his henchman, 'Talia al Ghul' avenging her father's death, and 'Hugo Strange' pulling all of the strings, according to various sources, all of that has feasibly turned out to be bogus.

Batman-News and Batman On Film have debunked the script leak, the latter site having contacted Warner Bros., who said that the story is false. There's no "insider" at WB emailing it to his friends and I can guarantee that there is an extremely limited number of people who have even touched the paper its written on, let along had the chance to read it.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Four is short work for him in the books. Of course, that's a story taking place over seven different titles and twelve months.

I can't say it's not tempting...

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I believe we'll be getting one if not 2 of the 4 mentioned but all of them?!?! That was hard to believe. I must admit I would like to see Killer Croc make an appearance on the big screen but I just don't think Nolan would use that villian. Hopefully he proves me wrong.....

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

That's his comic origin, no?

It's been used as an explanation a few times.

I still love the old rumor of The Penguin as a Russian arms dealer....but that idea's probably long-dead.

I would still love to see a final act with villains coming out of every crack and sewer drain in Gotham. If they needed a Russian arms dealer, they could make him Penguin and not even name him. There are so many ways to load this out and not end up like Spiderman 3.

I know it won't happen, but I still think it would rock.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

least this will be the last one for a while.
chris nolan said this the last batman for him...
bring back michael keaton..he was the best batman...

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

If they do anything besides continue the current storyline, make mine Stallone as Batman in a Dark Knight Returns adaption.

But they won't. They'll reboot it with a hunky teen Bruce in college as Batman.

____macer and Spiderman 3 tried to explain each and every villain and it just doesn't work that way. Nolan gets it.
