Can't believe it's just 3 weeks away... time flies

Yes, yes it does. As for box office predictions: I think it has a good chance of beating The Avengers opening weekend record. Three weeks is a pretty long time, and a lot could happen. These next few weeks, we'll be seeing a marketing blitz from Warner Bros., and more advertising means more exposure. More exposure, in turn, means more tickets sold. Factor in that there are still people who prefer to do it the old fashioned way and buy tickets at the box office at show time, as well as those who would be prone to multiple viewings, and we may very well have a winner on our hands.

As for the three weeks, tickets went on sale June 11th. That means that they've sold about $150 million worth of tickets in just 18 days. Yep, I'd say three weeks is plenty of time.

Definitely think it will gross more than TDK

Way too early to slap definite on that, so it's opening will be big, so what, if it's as dark as it looks like it'll be, it may not sustain after week 1. TDK was darker and more serious than something like Avengers but the inclusion of Joker helped keep it a fun film, I think TDKR won't be quite as fun and more psychological like Begins. Not saying it has no chance but I don't think we can really foreshadow overall success until the end of weekend 2.

I agree it's too early but just putting my prediction out there :lol

Some of the TV spots, especially the ones with Catwoman, make it look more fun than TDK and the Joker was.

Hey Sachiel good job. Thanks for posting all those pages. I'm definitely going to hold off on reading them until after I see the movie, but kudos nonetheless! :goodpost:

This is true.

Yes, this one actually looks less dark than TDK. Sure Bane will beat the ____ out of Batman but none of it seems sadistic like the Joker and some of his killings (Batman imposter, Rachel, bank clowns, etc.)

Bane kills Fox quite mercilessly and who knows how many others.

I still think the fun bits are going to be more fun and exciting than TDK, but I guess with the film being possibly much more darker and serious that probably doesn't matter much since it should even out. :lol

By the time I post this at least 20 pages will have posted! I cant keep up on my phone!!

Anyways, I have great feeling of dread regarding Anne Hathaway.
She'll probably do better than Holmes and Gyllenhal, but overall I'm not a fan of hers.
