Just got my notice for Faramir. He'll be here next week.

Got mine yesterday, very great indeed. Too bad I don't have a camera with me to post pics.

P.S. Just discovered yday that exchanging the hands of the figure is a very difficult tasks! Posing all the 4 12" took me nearly 4-5 hours!!

Try heating them up in hot water for about 1/2 a min.

Too bad the beard didn't turn out like Boromir's. His looks to be the best out of the 3 who have beards. Not being glossy helps.

It's a shame his beard is glossy, but at least the application of the paint looks nice, where Aragorn's was glossy and applied inaccurrately and ultimately gave his lip a Ronald McDonald complex.

OK so the notice I got was for Plo Koon, not Faramir (who is a fantastic figure by the way). I did, however, get my Faramir notice today (this time I checked more carefully ), and he will be here on MONDAY!!!

Oh the dreadful wait--four more days--four more days!!!

True, and I don't mind Aragorn's paint job that much, which is good, because at least Faramir's is better than that. Man I can't wait to have him in hand.

Checked my email today and nothing

So I fugured I just havent gotten nothing yet, which is a good thing because I dont have the funds in my account right now.

So I come on over to the board and see people are all ready getting their notices.

So I check my email once again, nothing.

So, just for the hell of it,I head over to my Sideshow account page.

Yup, card declined! I never even got an email saying it was going to process in 24 hours, which in 70+ orders from SS I have never not gotten.

So, its to late today to call SS

I will call them Monday and see what the deal is.

If I loose my exc. Faramir I am gonna be ****ing pissed!!!

I have been fortunate. In 37 orders, I have not had any trouble with my card. Just about everyone that I know personally who gets these figures has. I am keeping my fingers crossed, but I know that my time will come.

Hey, how are everyone else's shipping? I got a notice from fedex when normally I would get one from ups. When my Yavin Luke came it was fedex, my plo koon, ups. Now I'm waiting for fed ex, why does sideshow change up like this?

I too got a shipping notice without any 3-5 day notice. I really hope this doesn't continue because I'd be really pissed right now had I not already sold him to a fellow member.

Unfortunately, there seems to be an inconsistency with Sideshow emailing the last few months. There have been a few purchases where I never get an invoice email, but fortunately I can see the charges on my account before month end. Email notices are a tough thing, it's subject to the person who has to send them out sending them out or doing it correctly, and even when it's sent, with all the security these days with spyware and viruses and what not, email that is sent doesn't always come through.
