You should be aquainted with that feeling from Sarah Connor and the T2 line.
One odd feeling I've been getting with this line, we start with Aragorn who almost seemed packed beyond beliefe with accessories, to seemingly less and less, granted it's about all that there is for these characters, but just feels strange to get so much with the first and to "slow down" if you will with accessories. He looks great, and his beard looks on par with the quality of his brother's production paint, my only hope is the glossy look of his beard is just the photo and doesn't turn out like Aragorn's *fingers crossed* hair should never shine like that, especially facial hair.

True. But the likenesses get better even as the accessories wane. Personally, I'd rather have less goodies and better likenesses, if it works that way.
But also the quality of the materials seems to be getting better. Aragorn's coat was nowhere as good as Brormir's shiny shirt and tunic, and Faramir looks like he's got just as much pizzaz.

I feel like Plo Kloon kinda crept in the back door too. I mean with all the CIV excitement, Old Ben, and the Scout Trooper people kinda forgot about Plo. And them BAM! I haven't heard much news about the Bond figures either and I think Moore ships this month too.
Anyway, can't wait to see more pics of Faramir! He looks sweet!

Oh most deffinately, and I'm not trying to say I'm saddened by the accessory situation, I just get an initial feeling when I open the box like shouldn't there be more, but then I think about the character and there really is nothing more to be there, Aragorn being the rogue that he was had to kinda carry his home and all with him everywhere, unlike the royal sons of Denethor who have the White City to return to for shelter. And yes, without question Boromir was an astonishing accomplishment in 1/6 costuming, and I imagine Faramir will live up to that bar. Faramir's hair and bear color and paint apps look great for quality and consistency, my only concern like I said, is the gloss, if that's a photo effect and not true to the piece, he'd going to be fabulous, I think the overall paint application on the head looks better than the prototype personally.

Faramir is simply the best.
Aragorn had a ton of accessories, but so did Boromir. Orc head, shield, horn, knife, sword, scabbards, and whatnot. Faramir and Legolas just travel light is all. I imagine some will carry a lot more though--Sam could easily come with a ton of little things, while others, like Saruman, will likely be pretty sparse--I imagine little more than his staff and the Palantir.
Faramir's just incredible--man it's so close, I really hope we get a preview for a new one tonight since Faramir is practically here!

Although for the most complete outfit, he's got to have the black scarf he wears over his face and the long tunic he wears over the jerkin but under the cloak (he only wears it briefly in the attack on the oliphaunt and during his vision of Boromir). Both of them are under construction right now--my Faramir's got to have it all.
