Just watched AUE again and that High Fells short from DoS...I just cant shake the feeling that Radagast will die...just a gut feeling

He won't die. He's the Jar Jar of this prequel trilogy.

When you first heard that saying did you latch onto it cause you thought it was funny? Or perhaps witty? Cause it's the dumbest ****ing thing i have heard on the internet. NOTHING about Radagast is as nearly as bad as JJ....NOTHING!

:peace

i liked radagast so much, i bought his staff from weta. when he comes out in statue form, i will also add him. great character!!! he saved the doomed hedgehog and captured the witch king's morgul blade. compassionate and formidable!!! and who didn't think his sled of jack rabbits didn't kick *ss!!!

Yeah, I can see how some could find Radagast a bit annoying/silly, but he's not in the same league as Jar Jar. He ended-up growing on me by the end and I like some of the ways in which the movie is true to the fact that its source is a children's book, while integrating some of the more serious themes from LotR. Thought Jackson did a great job with balancing those elements out.

I thought the sled was pretty cool. There are plenty that didn't like it based on what I've seen.

I liked Radagasputin he smoked da weeds and ate the shrooms. He may have been quirky, and goofy, but he was is the one that had the intuition to sense the dark forces and find the necromancer, and then alert gandolf. The rabbit carriage was a unexpected trippy what the **** moment but it doesn't impact my enjoyment of this movie whatsoever. I am biased though for all lord the rings movies so I don't mind any of the hobbits perceived shortcomings or issues.

Too bad radagastputin wasn't a member of the Jedi council, his ability to sense the "darkside" could have snuffed palpatine out before he even even started his evil plan, prevented the whole clone wars, anakins fall to the dark side (which means no Vader). He was one powerful dude!!

I bet(or hope really) that the trailer comes out during Man of Steel!:exactly::goodpost::lecture:clap::pray:...We waited long enough I think:impatient:....I cant believe they havent even given a teaser trailer yet:dunno

I was a bit underwhelmed by AUJ so maybe DoS will fare better. I absolutely hated Radagast with the birdcrap running down the side of his head. Every time he came on I wanted to look away. It was disgusting and annoying. Also too much time spent on trolls. But the movie also had its highlights. The return to Middle Earth was nice in and of itself. The dwarf designs and characterizations were nice, and Gollum never looked better.

Not much bugged me in Hobbit.

Some did, article from BAD:

Entertainment Weekly has revealed this first photo of Evengeline Lilly in her full-on Elf outfit from the upcoming The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Not only is her character, Tauriel, a new invention not found in Tolkien's original book, but she appears to be a rare redheaded elf, which should stand as a rallying cry for Gingers everywhere.

The photo comes with an article which cloyingly indicates that Tauriel may have a romantic relationship with Orlando Bloom's hunky Legolas. Remember, this takes place before Lord of the Rings, so if true he won't be cheating on Gimli.

Just the possibility that Tauriel and Legolas may have a love story highlights the trouble with this threepart Hobbit series. Though I wasn't really looking forward to it, I quite enjoyed An Unexpected Journey when it actually got down to the journey. Some of Peter Jackson's embellishments were great (Radagst the Brown!), but the digression-heavy film often felt like one of his Lord of the Rings Special Editions. I fear Desolation of Smaug will be even worse. Potential love stories between a character who doesn't show up in the books and a character who doesn't exist in the books seems like a bad sign.

Still, I have to admit she looks pretty badass.

:slapI'll tell what will bug me in HDoS if it happens...If Smaug has a gold tooth I will let PJ have it!...:lolLOL:lol........I'm just glad Frodo/Sam, Merry/Pippin, and Legolas/Gimli didnt hold hands in the LoTR Trilogy....Tauriel looks like the Elf chick that Bilbo rescued gets to help Bilbo twice later in the Sierra Hobbit Video game....It wont shock me if PJ got the idea from that game!
