No, I'm really not. It's a tradition that I take my mom to see these opening night/weekend since she's the big reason I got into Tolkien. Thanks for your thoughts though.:peace

RT 73% thats a big improvement over last year.

It was higher earlier today but RT has posted several mixed/neg ones in the last few hours. They've got several positive ones to post still.

That's actually a tradition I have with my dad ever since he took me to see Star Wars in 1977. I don't know how many action/sci-fi movies we've seen together over the past 35+ years.

Unfortunately, he told me he'll be out of town this weekend, so I have to wait until next weekend to see The Hobbit.

Nice! It's just something nice to take my mom out to. She'd go tomorrow night but she just recently started a new job so she can't take off Friday. My dad goes to a lot of movies with me because he enjoys the types of movies I go see. A lot of that comes from years of going to comic-con.

My dad took me to see ALIEN in 1979 when I was 13 years old. I was told not to tell my mom. :lol

I was told the same thing when my Dad and I went to see Jaws! :lol

Thank ya sir. :hi5: I enjoy taking my mom to see these Middle-earth themed movies. :yess:

That's awesome, I have fond memories of going to the movies with my parents. :)
