A lot of people didn't get it that I've talked too. For me it was if Coin would have started the whole circle of hate and dictatorship all over again. Hell the whole book I had a good idea that Coin HAD to go.

My 13 year old daughter was watching the VMAs on MTV and they showed a teaser for The Hunger Games. It was a quick teaser and didn't show much except Katniss, but check the internet later for it.

The fan made film still looked better. However this was just a scene. I hope the film captures the book the way the fan one does.

This reads like a mash up of Running Man and the Ice-T movie Surviving The Game with teens. Any word on if the movies will be darker or is this going to end up being some Percy Jackson ____?

The books are about children forced to kill each other as a reminder to the people not to F with the government. How much darker would you like it?

I would highly recommend the books. I haven't tore through a series like that ever.
