But why is it telling us this? I hope somebody from SS can address this. I was going insane for a little bit. I think I threw up in my mouth. What's the point of the streamlined log in screen if it doesn't log you in once the product goes on sale?
 
I just got through, and it went very quickly.

I had been trying for 10+ minutes, having gotten a late start because of work.

Then the site just seemed to speed up and I got the order in quickly.

FYI - the numbers are in the FAQ:

CS number within U.S. - 1-800-474-3746
Outside U.S. - 1-805-418-1940

But after 30 minutes and then the "not available yet" screen, it went straight through on my next try.
 
got mine after 45minute and that's too much time spending for a 12" SW.
Hope sideshow will buy server!!!!!!

Thanks whoever posted the phone number. Sorry I am too mentally exhausted to go back and check. I did get my order in with Lodi by phone. It rang maybe six times. Aimee (or Amy I think there are two at sideshow) asked me to hold very politely, came back on about 15 seconds later and apologized for the delay, and then I put in my order quickly and easily with Lodi in a few minutes. Sounds like they are aware of the difficulty and were very very nice. I hope no one that gets through on the phone lights them up for this whole web fiasco. I can't strees how easy it was by phone - go figure.

So much for streamlined ordering by web.
 
If the servers were running good I would say it will sell out in an hour, but no way with them like this...
 
Finally got mine in on the web. Unfortunately, somehow I ended up with a Skinner in my shopping cart, which I'd already ordered earlier today. With the streamline ordering, there is no way to update your cart, and I couldn't place the order for Obi-wan until I got that damn Skinner out of there!

Fortunately I made it back to the regular page which let me into the normal shopping cart and I managed to get the order placed. *whew*
 
Finally got thru to the 800 number only to get a recording telling me they don't want to keep me on hold and disconnected me!!!!!

It took a while to load, and I though I had all of my bases covered by opening the newsletter page earlier today. The streamline page loaded a few times, but crapped out. It finally went through, though! I just don't want to have to do this once a week between Star Wars and Lord of The Rings Pre-Orders! I hope Sideshow could set up a service whereby those completists amoung us could "subscribe" to an entire 12-inch line, as it would certainly soothe my jangled nerves:google
