After ordering Lurtz I thought this was going to be easy. I got mine by phone thankfully after I thought I had one in my cart but the page froze and then went cannot find server crap. Wayyyyyy stressful. But I have one finally.

It took 47 minutes, but I finally got him! I hate to imagine what it will be like for Boba Fett and Darth Maul. Good luck to everyone on Obi Wan!

totally blanked on the pre-order today but just remembered, went to my email link, entered my log in info and had the order completed in less than two minutes! :banana

Got my order in at 1:40. My friend got hers in about 15 mins later, in that time 850 pieces went...WOW.....

After the very smooth and positive experience with Lurtz, we know that this new system can work great. However, with the insane amount of traffic that a less expensive 12" figure creates, there appear to be some glitches that are popping up in the streamlined ordering system.

Waiting a long time for the page to load is not their fault. When you finally get to log in after minutes of (im)patiently wating, only to be told that the item is not available for sale yet--when others are reporting successful orders--something is wrong with the system. Let's see if that can be fixed before Boba Fett goes up...

I found this:

SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES
733 Lakefield Rd., Unit B
Westlake Village, CA 91361
(805) 418-1940
[Sideshowcollectibles.com]

By the way, I called that number too, from the shipping label on a box. Couldn't get through with that one, either. Thanks again to Winged Shadows for the link!!!

Over a half an hour this time including a couple "cannot locate page" and having to re-login. I've never had it take quite so long before. Maybe they set a new record again for fast sellout time on an exclusive. I'm thinking eventually these exclusives go in like an hour. Of course it takes like four or five days before the complete regular edition is sold through so you do have a shot at getting your figure one way or another.
Anybody else think Star Wars 12" could be a very big product line for Sideshow?

Hey, on a positive note, I'm not planning on being a LotR 12" completist so I should save not only cash but be able to dedicate a significant portion of my workday on Fridays to earning a living instead of doll collecting! Yea for me.

Ok, this is funny! I got my order in about 15 minutes ago (after a long 45 minutes of the site telling me it wasn't available for pre-order yet)! Just now, I went back to the site to check to make sure the order was in my account, so I clicked on the link to bypass priority pre-order to get to the main page. There was a banner (the big square one) on the main page for Obi, so just out of curiosity, I clicked on it, and it lead me to the order page. I thought this was only available for priority pre-order at the moment? I didn't actually click on the purchase button, so maybe it would have stopped me there, but I wasn't logged on so how did I get to the product page?

And, by the way, I was only there about 10 seconds, then quickly checked my account and logged off to give others a chance.
