Just received the Transformers The Movie exclusive steelbbok, will fire up the movie later. It seems that it's already starting to go up in price so if any of you fancy it, now is the time.
I got in on blu ray but didn't get the steelbook. My wife's never seen it so I want to watch it with her to see what she thinks about it. I told her the death of Optimus Prime (and others) was traumatic for me as a kid since I loved the characters and had never seen a cartoon kill off anyone. 
I remember watching it in the theater when it came out and being in shock for the whole film.
it's pretty much the same thing as the ANH version aside from the little production errors. They also decided to put the robes on the inside instead of the outside for whatever reason.
