My wife has off, but I'll be stuck at work. We only get a few main holidays off throughout the year and Good Friday doesn't make the cut.

My Wife has to work. She gets overtime, but it's not even worth it. She's gotta work Saturday too.

Just looking forward to next week when she's got a three day with me. We hardly spend time together anymore.

New star wars VIII trailer looks OK. Not much substance but it is a trailer after all.

It's difficult for me to get my hopes up for SW VIII. I wasn't impressed with TFA when I left the theater. Hopefully they'll pull an Empire and VIII will be a much better film.

I had the day off from the store, but I've been doing contract work today. I'm not complaining... essentially working in photoshop while watching MST3K. It's a pretty relaxing day actually. Have to be back at the store at 4 am tomorrow though. Argh.

Glad to hear you're doing some contract work! Sucks about work at 4am though. I'm at work at 7am during the week and that's difficult enough for me. My brain and body have always been better at night so getting up early has never been easy.

Well, my wife said she'd front me some money for by birthday next week, to help finance the Deluxe Star-lord I just pre-ordered. The only problem with this scenario is that I have to wait almost a year to get him. I guess, in reality she fronted me money for next years birthday. Which will be the big 45. In the immortal words of Roger Murtaugh, "I'm getting to old for this S#!t"

I'll be 42 this year so I know how you feel. I don't think I'd feel so old mentally if I didn't work with a bunch of girls in their 20's. I usually forget my age--then I'll have a conversation with one of them that reminds me I'm in my 40's.

Just saw that there's going to be a new SW Emperor figure and a ROTJ Luke figure. ****ing BOUGHT. I have the first Emperor figure but he's one of my favorite characters so I'll buy however many versions they make. Hopefully he'll have lightning hands. The ROTJ Luke figure is a must-buy too because I love the all black outfit. I was really hoping he would go full Dark Side when I saw ROTJ as a kid.

I saw the Emperor yesterday but didn't realize they were doing Jedi Luke too. Finally. I got sick of having the Bespin Luke two pack only. I hope we see a ESB/ROTJ Vader too.

Does anyone know of any reasonably priced tailors for 1/6 clothing? I accidentally snagged a shirt to one of my figures and it's really bugging me. It's my custom Jill Valentine. Thing is, I didn't even like the top she's wearing anyway since it's not accurate.

I asked Geewhiz customs for a price... yeah, I'm not paying that for such a small project.

Unfortunately, for a one-off piece of clothing it'll probably cost a ton from anyone. Is there enough interest for an accurate shirt that you could do it as a custom project where they'd make 20-30 so the individual item cost would be lower?
