I think TS really is all RDJ can do. I watched other films since IM and all I can see is Stark.

I mean, say what you will about Cruise or Will Smith, but those guys can truly play CHARACTERS. And are entertaining even though they can be weird as ****.

RDJ? Nah. It really gets tiring seeing him on screen, much like Dwayne Johnson nowadays. Oh, and that no talent Kevin Heart. UGH.

Kirk Lazarus as Sgt. Lincoln Osiris begs to differ.:lecture

Funny as it sounds now after RDJ being the face of ironman.... Tom cruise was slotted to play stark early on in the first flick.

Seriously, though. I'm a firm believer in the fact that RDJ has chops. It's just...he doesn't need to use them. I mean, the fact of the matter is, Tony Stark is pretty much just a version of RDJ and it works perfectly and he's making bookoo bucks, which I do think has allowed him to be somewhat lazy, but Chaplin? Tropic Thunder? He's proven he can go out of his comfort zone.

I think RDJ is a great actor and has shown he act in past roles, but he's essentially become Tony Stark (or vice versa) now. He's become like Will Smith--shows up, does his "Will Smith thing", and collects his paycheck. Will Smith as Deadshot in SS was a ****ing joke. They just put Will Smith in an (incorrect) Deadshot outfit and said, "Go make some jokes. You know, something about white people, something about basketball, just 'Will Smith' it up a bit for us. Oh, your character? It doesn't really matter, but he loves his kid so milk that for whatever drama you can. Oh, and he'll kill anyone for money, unless he somehow grows a strong connection after 12 hours with a crazy white chick--then he throws his code out the window. Got it?" RDJ is doing the exact same thing with Tony Stark now except he's turned Tony Stark from a brilliant somewhat sympathetic character to an ******* no one likes because he's constantly talking ****.

Tony Stark is a moron in the Iron Man movies. From inviting terrorists to blow up his pad to creating Ultron, he's even worse than Bruce Wayne taking an 8 year break in TDKR. I thought he was supposed to be genius? :lol

They really made him make a lot of questionable decisions in the last two Iron Man films. Even in Civil War, the whole point was to not have untrained people with powers running around--so he recruits an inexperienced kid like Spider-Man to help him fight half of the Avengers? Stupid. I've found myself disliking Tony Stark more with each film they cram him in. I don't think watching him spit out more one-liners than Spider-Man and trying to bang Aunt May in Homecoming is going to change my attitude toward the character.

Oh god, yes. There was literally no part of me that wasn't Team Cap by the time Civil War rolled around, as Stark had reached an all time low in AoU. It's like "you **** up consistently, and now you expect the rest of The Avengers to pay for your **** ups?" Nah, quit being a tool, Tony.

Powers Boothe died and I am sad. Tombstone, Deadwood; even as a voice actor on Justice League, the guy was ****ing fantastic.

That sucks! He was a great actor. Really dug his evil portrayals.
Now more reason to go watch Frailty again... both him and Paxton were in it.

I still feel like ****. 3 days with a fever, chills, and enough mucous production to drown myself 10x over. I'm breaking down and going to an Urgent Care today because I don't see an end in sight if I don't get something to kill this ****. It's not the same ebola I had during the Winter--I think this may be smallpox. It's definitely in the plague category.

Sucks to hear that. I've been lucky and haven't really had anything wrong with me since the beginning of winter where I had a horrendous stomach bug. This flip flop weather doesn't help it any. In the 60s here last week, and it's going to be in the 90s today.

This has been a bad year for me for getting sick. I'm usually pretty healthy, but for some reason I'm catching every little bug going around.
