We'll have to agree to disagree on most of what you posted. Batman was used so poorly in SS that they shouldn't have had him in it at all. They had him go after Deadshot in front of his daughter (which was ridiculous because Batman wouldn't traumatize a child) and tossed him in the after credit scene for his RDJ "Avengers" moment for no other reason than to connect the **** film with JL (and to let us know that Waller knows Bruce Wayne is Batman). Even the chase scene after Harley and Joker was stupid because everyone in Gotham probably knew where they were because they weren't hiding. Joker owned a night club his girlfriend danced at for ****'s sake. You think they'd be tough to find? Also, do you think anyone preferred the ****** 30-second back story they gave these characters instead of DC giving them more time in other films or even just a better written SS? I stand by my shoehorned statement.

As for knowing who Batman is, no **** he's an old character. However, the popularity of Batman has mainly increased over the last 20 years to what it is now due to all the films. Superman was the #1 most recognized superhero for decades but DC isn't concentrating on him like they are on Batman--which I think is horse****. I do agree that Iron Man was a B (almost C) character for a long time until Marvel decided to bank on him and the Avengers since they couldn't use the X-Men characters in their films. They got lucky with RDJ embracing the role, as well as the audience embracing RDJ, and they've made billions since IM was released. That doesn't mean you throw the character in every movie though. They're playing off the Civil War comic book story and forcing the relationship between Tony and Peter into their film universe when Spider-Man is a character that can stand on his own two feet. Spider-Man is still a more popular character worldwide than Iron Man.

Yep - we will, because I don't agree with most of what you posted there -re Suicide Squad. I think the problem you're having is not that Batman was shoehorned in, but rather that the story wasn't greatly written in the first place, and also poor editing... the Joker/Batman chase scene I'm sure had a lot more filmed than made the cut... as for knowing where they were, well Batman probably did, but who knows what kept him from getting to them sooner... how much back story can they add!?!

Shes looking cute

I wish more companies would start announcing SDCC exclusives. So far, I'm not impressed with what will be available--though I suppose that's a good thing since I may save a ton of money if I don't like most of it.

I still have exclusives from last year that I need to sell. I thought I'd hang onto them, but I've been in Spring cleaning mode so I'm looking for stuff to get rid of.

One day I'll buy some DC stuff and actually contribute to this thread, I swear :lol

Just got a killer deal on the Sentinel Re:Edit Extremis Iron Man, had no intentions of picking anything up from them after the debacle that was the Toy Soul Armorize figure but the price was too good to pass on.

I pretty much stopped buying toys for a while, the only recent things I picked up were the SHF Street Fighter figures. DC seem to be doing their best to get me back into cape comics, though. Enjoying what I've read of Rebirth so far.

The last DC HT figure I got was BvS Superman. I hated SS so didn't get any of those figures. I'm not sure I'll even get many JL figures since I don't like most of the designs. Overall, I've been pretty disappointed with what's being offered. The comics right now have improved with Rebirth, but there's not much merchandise out yet for it.

Mezco is shipping my comic Superman figure in a couple weeks, but I'm not even that excited about it since they ****ed up his S on the costume.

I hear ya. I have several smaller figures just no where to put them. Picked up a set of those KO revoltech turtles on eBay for $90 a couple mothis back and still just sitting on my desk w no place to put them! Need to do some spring cleaning myself.

Mezco's annoyed me out of supporting their One:12 line at this point. Promised international shipping from their webstore never materialised, they obviously give zero ****s about international customers. All the most interesting figures like Classic Punisher or Knightmare Batman are artificially limited in availability and/or event/webshop exclusives just to make them even harder and costlier to obtain.

I can pick up convention and webstore exclusives from Japanese garage kit companies more cheaply and easily than I can anything from Mezco, it's absurd.

I bought the Raphael revoltech figure because he's my favorite. I thought about getting the rest, but he's just sitting in a box so why bother if the rest will too? I have a ton of stuff like that sitting in boxes that I need to just sell. If I'd stop being so lazy about it, I'd probably be able to fund my big purchases with the money from the crap I have that I don't even look at.
