Addicts staying clean is next to impossible. I got an Uncle that's been a POS junkie for a good thirty years now. Cleans up, and then relapses every 2-3 years.

It's sad that she couldn't get clean. Such a waste.

It is quite sad. I used to be critical of the "disease of mind" fad that other psychologists were saying. Over time, I've really been more open to the idea that it really is a disease of the reward center and compulsion.

I think it's one of those things that no type of treatment will ever "cure" it. And unfortunately, addicts are the type of people that you more thank likely need to just cut off. All the ones I've encountered are just plain volatile and self destructive.

I got a cousin who was the worst alcoholic I've ever encountered and he's been sober for 5 years or so now. Although now, he's 40 but he can easily pass for 50 or so... or someone with a wasting disease. He's got a lot of health problems now from his benders of the past.

we watched wick 2 over the weekend as well. better than i thought it was going to be! i really liked the 1st one... so did the old lady... which was a surprise cause normally she doesn't like the gratuitous violence. but i thought KR did a pretty good job of the character.

i dunno what it is... but this scene always amazes me how simple it is but how powerful it comes off to me. the rage seems real! love it!

My wife loved them too, but prefers the first like most would. I thought the second was almost as good at the first. I think it had some shortcomings but it balanced itself our with the gun action which was cleaner and more technical than the first.

Lawrence Fatburne needs to lose some ****ing weight.
