Neca turtles have really been made well. Pretty minimal QC issues and great price.

If I see them for sale at SDCC I'll think about picking them up--though if I had any sort of discipline I'd just admire them from afar.

For the dollar amount, those neca turtles are a steal! My Raphael just shipped from entertainment earth, and with the coupon it was $83 shipped. Thing weighs about 6 pounds and is pretty damn solid. So far I'm blown away by them!

I'd give sideshow a shout by the way. I got my tracking info last night. No reason you shouldn't have by now as well also being 1000 miles closer you would assume would help!

I'll see if I get a tracking notice tonight. They charged me for the Black Canary PF today so hopefully I'll wake up to find both have shipped. It wouldn't be the first time they charged me and waited a few days to ship though. ****ers.

And we know how they love to play the shipping game... screwing people around, overcharging etc. I don't trust them one bit when it comes to shipping

One thing I will tell you that can help estimating on shipping or quickly find more information ... sign up for free on UPS site for their free service. Basically it allows you to see incoming packages to your address on a calendar. Whenever items are shipped through UPS and your address is entered into the system on their end and tracking information is created, regardless of you getting updates from the place you bought from, UPS has all the information and it shows you on the calendar the days it's expected to arrive with the tracking numbers. I think it's called myUPS. But like last night, I checked it for another package I had coming from Amazon around 6 o'clock, and the tracking information showed up from sideshow. I didn't get a notice from sideshow till about 1145 at night. Also it allows you to sign for packages online and not have to miss them if they show up at your door.

I think I did that a long time ago but have it set to my home address, and I rarely get anything sent there. I'll have to sign up for that with my work address.

I woke up this morning to find emails with tracking numbers for both Leo and Black Canary. Should be here Tuesday. I forgot that when Leo went up they offered free shipping so that's why I didn't see a shipping charge. Black Canary was $30.

The MOS Zod had a grinning expression and some Batman figures have expressive mouth plates, but other than that I can't think of any. It would be nice if HT could include a normal HS and an expressive HS for each figure--though that would probably jack up the prices $30-40.

Just got in on the lottery for tickets for all four of Conan's shows during SDCC. With my wife and I in there we have 8 total chances to get tickets--though that didn't help last year. Crossing my fingers that we'll get lucky!

I appreciate that more than you'll ever know. I think I spend 20% of my time at SDCC bitching about all the strollers blocking the aisles then another 30% bitching about the amount of people in general.
