That is genuinely god-damn unnerving in how realistic it is.

He did one of him in the suit which was pretty good, but something was missing in the sculpt... I think it was the eyes... and it made it look like a doll (even though it is one)

While this one literally looks like it has a soul. The eyes are extraordinary. It really looks like there's a person in there.

Just to remind everyone, this is the piece of **** abomination Sideshow had the balls to try to sell.

Ughhh... whenever I see this I can't help but think of the trainer in those P90X videos, Tony Horton.

I really think the MCU has run it's course :rotfl

Enough is enough.

I couldn't believe Keaton didn't win for Birdman. I was legitimately shocked when they didn't say his name.

I'd say watch the first one and skip the second. The second film was an absolute mess. Jamie Foxx was ridiculous as Electro--horrible casting, horrible acting, horrible concept. The little Green Goblin dude was horrible as well. Gwen Stacy was good though, and her death scene was done well. I liked Garfield as Spider-Man so it's too bad he got ****ed over by a studio chasing that Marvel billion dollar mark.

I wasn't crazy over Birdman, but Keaton definitely wasn't worthy of an Oscar in it. That movie was so ******* weird.

Thankfully, Zod didn't spoil the Mask of the Phantasm reveal, like the ******* Kenner toy did.

I remember that. What a bunch of *******s.

In my defense for spoiling Gwen, she's been dead for decades in the comics so everyone should know she's not sticking around when they throw her in a film. :lol

@Pro Design, don't look that up if you don't want the movie spoiled!

you got it! :lecture

am i the only one that thinks that color scheme on that iron man looks really piss poor?? :dunno

Good. :) I will say that Emma Stone was good as Gwen Stacy in both films. I wasn't expecting to like her and she surprised me. It's too bad the films went off the rails because I would have liked to see what the did with all this

I really hate those films :lol

Regardless of how awful SM3 was, I'll still take it over everything after.

They did Venom right... didn't do Brock right... but at least the origin of the symbiote was right on... except Venom's design was awful and he spent too much time without it covering his head.

The one thing I really think they nailed in Amazing Spider-Man 2 was the suit. The only thing it was missing was the eyes being able to get bigger and smaller.

The suit was good, I just hated how the red on his chest doesn't curve into his armpits and it's straight and then cuts to a thirty degree angle. Overall though a good suit.

Electro :rotfl

They ****ed up Electro beyond redemption. I don't know why they picked Jame Foxx for him. He had the same basic storyline as Riddler in Batman Forever and then turned into a blue piece of ****.

**** I never noticed the Riddler similarity :lol I only watched that abomination once.

And Paul Giamatti as Rhino? Like WTF :rotfl

:lol Yeah, just random casting for characters that I never would have associated with the actors they chose.

Even with the film being a piece of ****, it still grossed $700 million worldwide. What's hilarious is that Spider-Man 3 grossed more than BvS. :lol

I shouldn't have posted the prototype. This is what people actually got.

Here's a pic of mine with a huge lean because the base was ****.

Plus the "S" was hit or miss because Sideshow had absolute **** quality control.

That is absolutely shameful for the money they charge for these things. I get pissed off if a Japanese import in the £100 region is less than perfect, no idea how statue collectors cope with this kind of thing.

Sideshow's design team has always been pretty inconsistent. They'll nail some pieces then make questionable decisions for others but still release them regardless of what customers think. When the Reeve PF came out, Sideshow was going through a really tough time with their quality control too. I returned 50% of the statues I bought from them in the span of a year or so because they would show up looking like that ****** Reeve statue. It was almost enough for me to give up on them entirely, but then they'd ship me something that was perfect and I'd gain a little hope that they'd gotten their **** together.

As if any further proof was needed, there's absolutely no ****ing point buying Hot Toys Iron Man figures until they stop making movies with Iron Man in them, as there'll always be a new and improved version every few months. Actually really like the colours on this one though, it's a nice homage to The Ultimates.

Feels like a game of roulette buying from them. You might get a Snake Plissken or Beetlejuice, or you might get a Jack Burton or Ash. I really like the look of those last two but they're so expensive it's kind of ridiculous.
