Hey Zod, how much does Conroy charge for an autograph at a con? Also, what is the line like? I've got a art print that I did that I'd like to get him to sign, but I was just wondering the cost. Also, a little side note, I was watching Cheers, and he has a guest starring role. I didn't recognize him because he was actually a pretty big guy in his youth.

He charged $40 at the last convention I went to in Dallas. The size of his line varies. The great thing about him is that he signs damn near all day every day. The only time he wasn't at his booth was when he was doing a panel. The line was huge at the beginning of every day, but there were a couple times I looked over and saw that there were only a couple people in line. He's awesome to meet though--takes a minute to talk to you and then you get to take a pic with him for free after he signs for you. :rock

Very happy to discover today that Batman 1989 will be having a cinema screening here in October. I never got to see it on the big screen when it was first released and have been waiting for years for it to be shown again.

Batman Returns is also screening in November so will be a great month of Burton Batman :yess:

That's awesome! I remember going to both in the theater when they were released. People when ****ing crazy when Batman '89 was out. Everyone was wearing something with Batman or Joker on it, the soundtrack exploded because Prince did it, and the screenings were packed for awhile. Merchandising for it was through the roof. I had a few Batman buttons on my jean jacket when that was a thing :lol

I was 4 when the movie came out, and around that time my dad's health started to decline so I never caught it in theaters. I did however, got this as a compensation from my mom: :yess:

It's mind blowing that you get to be in the same physical space as your hero. More points if your heroes aren't ***** in real life. :lol

Would love to see this scene in the theater.

I honestly couldn't tell you how many times I saw it in the theater. I was 14 when it came out so the movie theater was a regular hang-out anyway. When Batman was released, I was in heaven. Just to show my age, when Batman Returns came out, I won tickets to see it for free at the drive-in theater when that was still a thing. :lol

I was so excited to meet him. Him being a nice guy and taking the time to chat and take a pic was icing on the cake. I wish Tim Daly would go to a convention around me. I'd lose my mind getting to stand in front of Superman. :lol

Man that must of been an experience. I know Superman: The Movie was a big thing, but I've watched documentaries on the original 89 Batman and it seems like it was a box office juggernaut. I remember hearing dumb Kevin Smith say they went to theaters for movies strictly to see the trailer for it.

The hype for Batman '89 was insane. The only thing I can think of to compare it too since was when The Phantom Menace was released and how people were going crazy trying to get merchandise and flooding theaters to see the films.

TPM was one of the most disappointing movie experiences of my life. I remember sitting in the theater during the film and thinking this is what they've been hyping for months? Darth Maul was the only part of the film I enjoyed and they had to ruin that too. I still watched the other two prequels in the theater because I was desperately hoping TPM was a fluke, but the disappointment continued with each one. I felt the same way after leaving The Force Awakens too. I don't know if my expectations have been too high for the franchise or what, but I haven't enjoyed a Star Wars film in the theater for a long time.

I had hoped HT would do the Returnsmobile that turned into the Batmissile, but since the first had so many scratch issues they decided against it.

Here's a blurry shot I took of my Musashi and Kojiro yesterday. Skull Knight is poking in from the side, since I decided they should share the Berserk shelf.

That would have been a cool car to have on the shelf. I never got the '89 Batmobile and regret it--though I'd only buy it now if I could see it in person first due to all the damaged ones out there. I'm also still pissed about the '66 Batmobile. They actually showed us the car they made but didn't release it. ****ers.

Those are great figures. I still haven't bought Skull Knight, but he's on my list. I wish Threezero would get off their ***** and release the other Berserk figures they said they had planned.

Yeah, I got Guts with the ****ing broken thumb.

I fear the day we get the Berserker in hand. But at least with that, it will be a molded hand since it's completely covered in the armor.

My Skull Knight is fine, but his elbows aren't as tough as the one I sent back to Threezero. His EX sword is a bit heavy for it.

I can't wait to see their Berserker Armor figure. I love that design. Prime needs to get off their ***** as well and show their Berserker Armor statue. That thing should be a beast.
