The whole study of humanity in the face of being stripped down to 100% survival mode on The Walking Dead has gotten old because they've stopped looking at why they're at that point. I think they have to go back to figuring out what the **** happened and find a way to stop it--especially since the Walkers aren't the real danger anymore. They've just become convenient plot devices for whenever they need to have a shocking death or to set up a big action sequence like having a herd roam through. The problem with that is that there's only so big you can go--how many times can you threaten the characters with a herd of walkers? The comics just had a ridiculous amount of Walkers attack one of the settlements. Who cares? They can't keep throwing herds at the characters and they can't keep replacing one bad human as the villain for another bad human as the villain. The stories have become redundant and too cyclical to keep my attention anymore.

You nail exactly why the show as well as the comic should of been short lived. Stick around for a hundred chapters or a few seasons and cut it off. You don't have to read or watch throughout their lives given there will obviously be no resolution at th end of it. It's just milking at this point. I think the first two seasons were excellent. The world was smaller and it was more character driven than anything, and the zombies were a threat. Now they're just window dressing. Even the comic came to the point where the zombies became a complete non entity.

Mother ****er.

Yeah I saw that about the Endo, but didn't expect WW get the shaft too.

The comic was deemed canon by the director and the first 3 chapters come in the special features of the blu ray :lol :lol

Even thought it is a low budget silly comedy, i prefer to watch Z Nation much much more.
Z Nation is much more entertaining. More fun to watch. The plot is more varied, the zombies are even more fun.

Damn :lol well... it isn't the first time Danny Boyle has had a brain fart. 28 Days later I think is the last good Zombie flick that tried something different.

Got new shelves for my office. Still have to clear out some **** to get them all to fit then it'll be time to fill them up! :rock Taking collectibles to work is one way to make room at home for new stuff. :lol

That's awesome! I remember going to both in the theater when they were released. People when ****ing crazy when Batman '89 was out. Everyone was wearing something with Batman or Joker on it, the soundtrack exploded because Prince did it, and the screenings were packed for awhile. Merchandising for it was through the roof.

I was ten when it came out and can still remember the batmania. Even at that age I knew it was a bigger deal than most other movies and I loved it. My parents said they would take me to it but never did. I had the comic, the figures, all the trading cards, the stickers and poster and would watch the batdance video every weekend on "Video Hits" so it was like I had seen it by the time we got to rent the video on the day of release.

What I like about it now was that unlike TPM in 1999 or big movie events now is it was just hype and excitement without much pressure, cynics, and upfront nitpicking that we see so much these days. It was good times and am so happy to finally get to see it as I was promised 28 years ago :)

Thanks! I've been looking for it for awhile, but it doesn't pop up often. I ended up getting it for $100 under original retail too! :rock :rock

I got Aaron Lopresti to do a commission for me for pick up at SDCC! I'm going to have him do an Ursa piece. :rock I'm also going to try to get Terry Dodson's commission list.

The lady met the girl that was interested in her Craigslist ad at a local coffee shop and outlined her assassination plan with a power point presentation. I'm not making that up.

The more I read about the story, the more flabbergasted I get. I don't know how she thought she'd get away with it. Plus, she had four kids and had the beans and mortar and pestle with ricin residue still in the house.

Completely different situation, but reminds me of a story that was a block from my house where they found a cut up body in the basement. I cannot for the life of me to find the story.

amazing this day and age that people are stupid enough to go thru w/ crap like that... w/ video cams at every corner... every person being a news reporter w/ cams and vids on their phones... audio tapped at every angle... texts saved by the billions... ain't nothing safe and secure out there anymore!
