I don't know how they're doing $4 shipping, but I'm glad they are. Even taking reward points into account, for 1/6 figures it's still a better deal to go through BBTS. Like with Drax, shipping from Sideshow was $22, I got $11 in reward points, so if I count that as a discount then it still cost me $11 to ship.

Rewards points nowadays amount to paying normal shipping charges

Would be nice if BBTS has a rewards program, but I think you make that money back with the rock bottom shipping costs. So now, you basically pay 2% or so of the retail cost of a HT to get it shipped to you.

It's definitely a great business move. You end up making money on it eventually.

Yeah, one order may not seem like a big deal, but you definitely see a difference with several orders--especially with the Pile of Loot shipping.

I got an email back from Terry Dodson that I'm on his list for potential commissions he's doing for SDCC! Unfortunately, he does his SDCC commission process weird so I'm not guaranteed anything. He chose the first 25 people that emailed him and then will pick and choose from those people. He's going to work on them and email each person as he finishes each piece. If I haven't heard from him by Wednesday 7/19 then he didn't pick mine. I can't imagine anyone has ever asked him to do an Ursa from Superman II commission before though, so hopefully he'll pick me just because it's different.

As someone who likes to do artwork (nowhere near as good as those guys), I always liked to make something I hadn't before. So I'm also hoping that he picks yours as well just based on intrigue. He may like to do the same ones though

The wait to find out will drive me crazy. I hate that he won't just say "these are the ones I'm doing". I'll have my fingers crossed for almost two weeks.

Came home for lunch to find I don't have Internet. A 20-minute phone call to the stupid cable company didn't do ****. They don't see an outage in my area so now a technician has to come out--next ****ing Wednesday. I'm hoping the representative was just a worthless **** that doesn't know what the **** is going on and it resolves itself.--preferably by the time I get home from work.

It figures that last year when I got a Saturday ticket for SDCC I got to see the Suicide Squad cast, but this year I didn't get one and the Justice League cast will be there that day. Not that seeing Margot Robbie wasn't cool but I'd like the chance to get an autograph from Henry Cavill and see for myself if Gadot has any ****s or if she really is flat as a board.
