The best part of $2k seems like a bit much to me for something that's not an original, but then again I'm not a collector...

If I got off my *** and sold everything I had in boxes I could buy damn near whatever I wanted. That's how I bought my 1:1 Terminator so maybe I should do another culling.

Well worth it, I'd say. I'm sure 3 nerds, Arnie, Skynet and yourself are the only ones who have it. I would imagine it's just like being in another dimension, being in the same room with a life-sized endo.

I think you're right. Mine is number nine and I think maybe one or two were made after mine. I'm sure they saved a few of them for Arnie and other VIP's. The edition size was supposed to be 100.

Highlights are weird.

The paint on both is what kills them for me. They don't need to get fancy with it. The sculpts look pretty damn good.

The paint is unnecessary and distracting, but the Freeze sculpt is damn good. I guess what could be worse than the paint would be the price.

@Zod, when you saw Bats last year, were the highlights supposed to be reflective paint or something?

The price and the wait. There's not telling when they'll finally go up for preorder and ship.

The paint was flat if I remember right and not reflective.

Freeze looks jaw dropping and Bats has won me over, for the most part. I'm still cautious of the prices, but if the final products turn out like that, then, whoa. I get that the highlights aren't for everyone, and I'm still not 100% on Batman, but I think Freeze has almost made a believer out of me. Plus, they get bonus points for giving Batman his cheeky smirk, something DCC has STILL failed to deliver, after, what? 5 different versions, now?

I think I'd be more excited if I knew Mondo was going to go nuts with the line. Considering they showed Batman last year and he still not up for preorder makes me wonder if they're going to make more than 2-3 characters.

It is crazy though how those two look like real life cartoons! Freeze's spare heads actually look like cartoon images pasted on the picture! LOL

I just want a Robin or a Joker. I would like to, at the very least, have 1/6th Batman signed by Conroy to go with my West and Ward Hot Toys figures. Whether they do Robin or Joker would dictate whether Hamill or Lester is the other signature. I think it'd be kind of cool to try to form some continuity in terms of what I get signed/by whom. It is highly unlikely (understatement ) that I ever meet Keaton or Jack, much less get them to sign something, or Christian Bale, for that matter, but, at the same time, I'm kind of like "**** it. What the hell?"

Freeze is incredible. Especially that sad/goggles free head. Almost makes you wonder if, with the right body and uniform, you could pull off an actual, mixed media 1/6th version of him in his Arkham cell with his snow globe.

Yeah, I could have sworn that alternate head was a cutout picture from Heart of Ice.

My only hope right now if Zod would see it in person and offer his opinion. If the figures have presence, I can repaint them and that would fix some of the problems.

Also, I was hoping the highlights were a reflective material, it makes no sense to have them in matte finish. Bizarre stylistic choice indeed.
