There's so much going on that I can't keep up with it on my phone. Prime killed it with Doomsday and Swamp Thing. Plus, they showed the giant Dog Alien, more GI JOE statues, and a couple more New 52 ones. They also showed the Berserker Armor Gutz and Griffin statues. I'm more impressed by the little bit I've seen from them already then anything I saw from Sideshow at SDCC.

Not a statue guy but Swamp Thing and that Berserker Armour Guts are utterly amazing.

Snake's gonna have to make some room...

I've been waiting for that Berserker Armor piece. It'll be interesting to see what switch-puts they include, but I'm more than likely buying it regardless.

Plus, I wasn't expecting them to show Swamp Thing and that sculpt looks unbelievable. AND it comes with three heads and a couple extra arms and hands.

I was hoping I wouldn't see stuff at WonFes to spend money on, and then this happened:

Translation: Max Factory are teaming up with Sen-Ti-Nel to create a line of 1/6 "next-generation" Guyver action figures. I'm guessing the static display model is just there as a placeholder.

Don't think they're in attendance, could be wrong though. I'd like to stress I am not actually at Wonder Festival 2017. I am sitting in a comfy chair with a caffeinated beverage in a small house somewhere in the English countryside, reposting anything interesting I find on other sites from the event.

I like the shield Captain America has that's blocking bullets. That's a cool accessory. I have the Mondo Iron Giant, but that doesn't mean I can't get that one too.

I'd like to see more done with Swamp Thing too. It's interesting that we're all of a sudden getting two statues of him. I have to say, I liked the Sideshow one when I saw it at SDCC, but the Prime sculpt blows me away. There's an insane amount of detail and display options there.

Couple more things

Revoltech Magneto -

Apparently all his accessories will have actual magnets built into them. Supposedly Kaiyodo have the licenses for DC and several other companies, but are focusing on Marvel for the time being. I think I actually like these more than the Mezco figures, honestly.

Figma Ainu Wooden Bear -

This was an April Fool's joke from Good Smile earlier in the year that they've been forced to produce by popular demand It's a jointed replica of a traditional Ainu wood carving.

Not really seeing much else this year that's grabbing my attention. Then again it seems to get harder every year to find decent organised coverage of the event...

I could have dealt with the rest of BvS being **** and Doomsday being shoehorned in if he had at least looked like this. I think they were intentionally being *******s when they made him look like a giant LOTR troll turd.

So, a certain someone picked this up for me at SDCC. What great variant, much more than a simple repaint.

What's so ****ed up about it is that it felt like a troll, in that I feel like he could've easily looked like comic Doomsday had they just gone all in on the idea of him regenerating with bone spikes. The troll face seems like it would've been fine with some appropriately placed spines.

Imagine this:

Doomsday tries to kill Luthor, Superman punches him in the face, knocks his jaw off and he collapses. Next thing they know, he's getting back up and his entire jaw is covered in bone shards. Wonder Woman slashes his chest with a sword? Bone spires. Superman wins their heat vision duel and blasts him in the face? Bone spires on his eyes and nose.
