I forgot to mention that I've received Michelangelo, Donatello, and the Cheetah PF in the last week and none of them had a $20 code. I think that's around 8 pieces I've gotten from them in the last 2 months that haven't had a code.

Thanks fellas. I just got back. I had to be there at 5:30 this morning. It wasn't my meniscus at all. It was some frayed behind my kneecap. He explained to my wife but she was so preoccupied with being nervous that it didn't really register with her :lol I see him next Tuesday so I'll be able to get a better explanation. It was something to do with inflammation and he gave us photos of it and it looked like the flesh was frayed apart and he cleaned it up.

I'm glad this was the outcome because he also said if he can't find anything he was just going to leave it as is.

Crutches suck BTW.

good deal! glad it wasn't too bad...
at least now you got more time to livestream! :wink1:

yeah same thing... several shipments, 0 codes.
business must be good! :slap

I'm getting Killer Croc on Wednesday so I'll see if there is a code included on him, but it really looks like they've stopped giving them out.

someone mentioned they said they would be giving them out again sometime... but w/ the shipping over charges they are doing, it's not worth going there if you have other options.

hey d, i sent you some $ back for overages on those plasma rifles... i screwed up the price when makin the post!

Their prices were just too rigid and inflated. They lost the war years ago when they didn't invest in their online shopping.

Hey fellas, haven't been too active on this thread if at all but this is basically just a free discussion thread right? Am I welcome here? Haha.

Might as well share a couple pictures I took recently of my QS001 and NECA Deadpool because why not?

The QS001 is awesome. I've been meaning to swap his faceplate out with that angry one there, but I'm too lazy to dig the box out.

I might when the 1/4 Joker releases so I can pose them together, like the "WHERE ARE THEY?" bit.

Looks like ToysRUs will inevitably close this year.

No big surprise. With the way things go anymore, I'm surprised any of the specialized brick and mortar places (toys r us, Best Buy, etc) are still in business with how much cheaper and easier it is buying things online. But highly doubt they'll be gone. Prolly just a way to clear debt and keep goin.

I got it--thanks! You should have kept it to go toward the other stuff though.

Nah no worries man. Have all your stuff out this week. Dam hurricane put a screatching halt to stuff!

Sad to see a staple of my childhood years close....

TOys R us and KB Hobby....

No more Brick and Motor toys stores....that really says something about our digital society..

It is sorry to see... you are/were lucky in the states to have so much choice - over here in the UK we only have Toys R Us and The Entertainer - which is much smaller than TRU and doesn't open on Sundays... plus the choice we have over here was poor compared to the USA.
Last time I was over in Florida I think I went to every toyshop in the Orlando area, and picked up some great bargains!

I don't know if I'll even bother trying to hit up a Toys R Us before they close. I imagine stuff will either get picked over quickly or the discounts won't be significant enough to make the trip.

I'm planning on taking a sick day for when they begin steep discounts. If there are any lego or other things you're interested, I'll grab them for you at cost.

I honestly agree with Zod....the "going out of business" sales never really have any spectacular discounts on anything you might actually want....

Another thing that has gone away...
