Kryptoni psoriasis is pretty severe. I wonder if a kryptonite salve would help him out.

Maybe just some plastic surgery

These crutches are a ***** to use. I had to spend all day in my bedroom yesterday and I can't even sit how I want. Thankfully this big bandage comes off tomorrow and I can try to walk on it.

I haven't had to use crutches in forever. I get irritated enough with the cane I use every now and then when my back is really bad so I'm sure crutches would be even worse.

I'm planning on taking a sick day for when they begin steep discounts. If there are any lego or other things you're interested, I'll grab them for you at cost.

:rock :rock Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for when they start advertising their discounts.

the news on it all makes it sound more like a restructuring of debt... so good possibility they might not even close up stores depending on the outcome.

the old lady said you'll be back walking here shortly. but she said to stick w/ whatever therapy they send you to.

Awe Wonder Woman is quitting?

Why....did you pay her slave wages? No meal breaks? 12 hour shifts? Made her multitask all the time?

Oh wait. that's us....

It is sorry to see... you are/were lucky in the states to have so much choice - over here in the UK we only have Toys R Us and The Entertainer - which is much smaller than TRU and doesn't open on Sundays... plus the choice we have over here was poor compared to the USA.
Last time I was over in Florida I think I went to every toyshop in the Orlando area, and picked up some great bargains!

I don't know if I'll even bother trying to hit up a Toys R Us before they close. I imagine stuff will either get picked over quickly or the discounts won't be significant enough to make the trip.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. After reading up on this they've filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, to try and relieve the interest on the $6.6 billion of debt they're currently in. They have no plans to shut down, just to restructure their business model and try and drum up more profits and investment to clear those debts.

If they do eventually go to the wall, it's going to be a slow death. Maybe a few more years.

Nice! I keep going back-and-forth on whether to pick it up to add with my BVS guys... keep wondering if they will have a version with a better head sculpt for the new movie?

She's going to be the new Black Widow. There will be a dozen versions of her within a few years. :lol I pretty much only stuck with my order to have one on my shelf now instead of having to wait another year or so for a different version.

that sucks that we find that being the norm now... or at least for me. as in buying something to fill the gap or complete something when you aren't thrilled with it. they know the "completion addiction" is in a lot of the people in this hobby... so personally i think that's why we get subpar product sometimes as they know people are going to buy it regardless.

Finally got my 2-week notice for HT Wonder Woman today. :rock

I hope you like it. The pics and videos I did see of it in hand I wasn't crazy over.

Update on my dumb knee. I forgot to mention they pretty much shaved my entire leg :lol they had me bandages up my thigh and it was a pseudo cast. After two days (which is today) I was able to remove it finally. I had woken up at 3AM incidentally and I told my wife this ****er is coming off. They had it way too tight.

I remember you said you had a torn Meniscus and that's what I had thought this was. I looked up what the Doc told my wife and it's not that at all. It's something to do with the ligaments behind my knee cap causing irritation, and he actually said my meniscus was pristine.

I'm pretty sure that's what they're doing with figures like Ripley now. I can't believe that they put the time, money, and energy to make the Robocop figures as awesome as they are considering some of the stuff they're putting out. What's really irritating is that it wouldn't cost them any more to just make a better initial sculpt. Look at Drax. Yeah, I'm glad I finally got the team complete, but they could have made the body bigger which would have cost a little more, but the head sculpt should have had some expression to it.

That's good that your meniscus is intact. Sounds like cleaning up the inside of your knee may be what you needed. I haven't had any problems with my left knee since I got the goop injections. Now my right knee is starting to do the same thing my left did, but I'm just dealing with it. I don't want to go through all that again until I have to. I've just accepted that I'm getting older and things are going to hurt. As long as I can still walk then I'm good.

That's what worries me. When this mess first started it was solely in my left knee but I started getting problems in my right, not to that level of pain, but pain nonetheless. I hope it's just because it had to work harder to compensate.

It's probably just because you were compensating. Hopefully when you get everything back to normal it will even out the pressure on both knees and the pain in your right knee will disappear. It'd be worse if you were off your left leg for weeks or months.

He said it should be 100% in about 10 weeks. I'm down to using one crutch since I got the hang of it. He wants me to steadily put more weight into it. It's awkward trying to walk with it since I'm apprehensive about it.

I'm glad I got over 10 weeks sick time. I'll probably be back to work the first week of October.
