I'm a fan of the new games but this upcoming movie looks really generic and extremely cliche. I guess I shouldn't have been expecting anything other than that.

Also that new Punisher trailer looks fricken badass. Can't wait for the show; definitely my favourite part of Daredevil Season 2 and Bernthal plays the part so well that he deserves this.

I'm looking forward to the Punisher series. Tomb Raider can wait until it hits cable or Netflix. It may end up being entertaining, but video game films have a horrible track record so I'm not spending money on it at the theater.

I'm looking forward to the Punisher series. Tomb Raider can wait until it hits cable or Netflix. It may end up being entertaining, but video game films have a horrible track record so I'm not spending money on it at the theater.

Yup the punisher looks like it"ll be worth the watch! There have been some good video game flicks... resident evil, mortal kombat, war craft, etc... but typically I'll wait for DVD or bluray most times.

I'm one of those guys who tried really, REALLY hard to love the reboot games but can't. The old games, especially the "Trilogy" are some of the smartest, most atmospheric games around and the Trilogy made Lara a character I never thought I'd care about whereas the reboot lacks anything that makes her compelling beyond shoehorned writing. They're great shooting games, but then again they're just making a Nolan version of Uncharted, at least in my opinion.

I think the best videogame movie of all time has to go to Silent Hill. It's not a crowd pleasing movie, and the ending is dark and open ended (hence why a lot of people don't like it) but it perfectly captures what's great about the games and it got a lot of my friends into the games after watching it. Truly an underrated gem imo.

Have to say I didn't like season 2 of Daredevil too much – I loved season 1, but apart from Punisher, season 2 dragged for me, and was a disappointment.
I will however be watching Punisher

I think all of the Marvel Netflix series are 3-4 episodes too long. I've enjoyed them for the most part, but they're tough to watch a second time without fast-forwarding through quite a bit.

From what I've seen of it, that's no surprise. It's disappointing though--I love the Inhumans and really wish Marvel would have kept their plans for a movie. Maybe then they would have done it right instead of whatever ******** they're trying to pull with the tv show.

also it's hard to keep up w/ all this comic book tv! punisher, luke cage, inhumans, iron fist, gifted, legion, jessica jones, daredevil, defenders, etc... seems a boat load of comic tv to follow!

There are a ton of comic book shows now. Unfortunately, a lot of them are only made to milk the current popularity and aren't good. I stopped watching Agents of SHIELD, Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl because they either sucked from the beginning or started to suck. The Netflix shows are hit and miss. I'll give Krypton a shot but have zero expectations for it. Gifted might be good. Gotham has gotten much better. It'll be interesting to see what DC does with their Teen Titans show.

yeah... that list was just marvel crap i was throwing out... toss in all the DC crap and there ain't enough hours in the day to watch it all!!

i was pleasantly surprised with legion... it was odd and quirky... and kept my attention thru the whole thing.
