I honestly hate Batman comics with convoluted continuity, hence those were my picks. Quick, easy to pick up & read and nearly anyone can enjoy.

Nice! I'll put it on my list. I always have to import my comics from the US or UK since there's none nearby. :lol

Wow. :lol

Well, you can check out the movie starring Peter Weller, it's pretty awesome and I think I like it better than the book.

I did see most of the film on YT. I didn't realize it was Weller, but now playing the clip in my head... I can totally hear Robocop now :lol

I always prefer self contained stories.

Also, while we're on the subject of Batman comics, check out Batman by Doug Moench and Kelley Jones Volume 1 that I mentioned few pages earlier. The story is good so far and the art is truly striking. It takes places after Knightfall thus Batman has to work harder to intimidate criminals, and he does that by putting on the scariest Batman costume in history. :lol

How did I miss this? I have an image in my head now. :naughty :lol

Im glad i wasnt the only one who found that ridiculously hilarious :lol. I also imagined him horizontally flying full speed towards her using a targeting scanner, with an intense face :rotfl

Earth one Batman is a pretty good read with no backstory requirements. Riddler is boss

Did Kevin Conroy really say that in an interview? Between judging other actor's work and then that quote, what makes him the authority on Batman? :lol

There was a video of it. The funniest part is that, depending on how you play, Batman totally kills Ra's in the Arkham games. I mean, if the state defines pulling someone off life support without consent as murder, then, yeah, he totally did it.:lol I thought he had a dig at Bale's Batman, too, if I remember. That was more about the voice, if I remember, but I don't really see this one as being a dig at Affleck, so much as the characterization of Batman in the film. I can't really blame him, though. When people constantly call your Batman the "definitive" Batman, I'm sure it's bound to go to your head, at some point.:lol
