HT is creeping their prices up. $245 for a bare bones figure with one extra HS. I'm going to wait to preorder since there's no EX.

I really wish they would’ve done an ex or even just a new sculpt for the regular Head with a smirk, like he had in that firs promo image.

They got lazy and reused the BvS HS. I'm surprised they even bothered to include the heat vision head.

Agreed. The characterization throughout Rebirth has been really wonderful, and, as a fan of old school Supes, it made me happy to see the character returning to the Superman we’d always known and loved, but this pretty much cements it, and it seems like Doomsday Clock May just get Ma and Pa Kent back, too, which...I would love to see the interactions between them and Lois and Clark’s son Jon. At this point, the only other thing I hope they drop is Barry Allen’s murdered mother. I always liked how vanilla Barry was, and it made his tenure as The Flash seem more altruistic when you consider that he’s doing it purely because he’s a decent guy who got super powers and saw it as a way to help people, as opposed to being motivated by some personal tragedy in his life.

Yeah, I was genuinely shocked to see it, as well. I don’t really mind the reuse in the sense that I feel like they did a great job with that sculpt, but I still feel like one of the few good things to come out of JL was that we finally got a Superman who acted like Superman out of Cavill, ****** CGI aside, and it would’ve been nice to see that new, more heroic attitude reflected in some of the merchandise. I mean, hell, even Prime1 did the same thing with their statue.

I wonder if WB wasn’t hurting after all the “****ed up Shrek” memes because of Cavill’s CG shave and somebody was like “can we do Superman smiling,” and they just freaked out about it.

You might be right. They should have more confidence than that though. Plus, it wouldn't kill them to make one of the HS with a smile. One neutral, one heat vision, one smile--it's not that ****ing hard to figure out.

I do have to say that I'm excited for all the Superman statues that are popping up now. Seems like it was Batman after Batman for awhile. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, but it's nice to see Superman getting some love. I think I'm going to get Prime's Hush Superman and the JL 1/3 scale Superman but pass on the BvS 1/2 Superman. I keep looking at the 1/2 scale but was really hoping they'd make a 1/3 Cavill at some point. Sometimes patience pays off!

Truthfully, I’d have loved to see some company solicit a “pending licensor approval” sculpt with the ****ed up Travolta mouth. I think it would be hilarious and if they ever got the go-ahead to make it, I might buy one just for the novelty of it.
