I forgot to mention that Captain Clown sent me some of those DC Funko figures that were only available at Target. :rock :rock I was messing around with my rotating platform in my lightbox and used the Superman figure. Not real crisp quality, but I'm at least learning how to use the damn thing. :lol

They're doing a solo movie, right?

That is going to BOOOOOMMBBB

I just love how fans always complain that studios don’t pay attention to them and LITERALLY ALL WB DOES IS LISTEN TO THEM. They just listen to the wrong ****.

Fanboys: “Superman’s boring and too nice. He’s also OP, but none of the movies have ever showed him doing anything cool like fighting-wise.”

WB: “LET’S MAKE A TWO AND A HALF HOUR FIGHT SCENE WHERE SUPERMAN IS ANGSTY AF AND RELUCTANTLY MURDERS THE BAD GUY IN THE END! WHO’S THE GOODIE TWO-SHOES, NOW!?!”

Fanboys: “SUPERMAN DOESN’T KILL! WHAT THE ****, DC? ALSO, WHY WASNT HE SAVING ANYONE!?! ALSO, WHY HAVEN’T YOU DONE JUSTICE LEAGUE? MARVEL ALREADY HAS TWO AVENGERS MOVIES IN THE CAN!”

DC: “LET’S HAVE BATMAN BE MAD AT SUPERMAN FOR BEING TOO CARELESS IN MAN OF STEEL, AND THEY CAN FIGHT AND BATMAN WILL BE ALL PISSED OFF AND DEPRESSED BECAUSE HE’S BATMAN AND HE’S ALLOWED TO BE ANGRY, AND HE COULD KILL PEOPLE AND OOH, WONDER WOMAN CAN BE IN IT! AND WE’LL HAVE A MONTAGE OF SUPERMAN SAVING A BUNCH OF PEOPLE AND THEN, WE’LL MINE THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN AND HAVE HIM MAKE THE UKTIMATE SACRIFICE TO SHOW HOW COMMITTED HE IS TO SAVING PEOPLE!”

FANBOYS: “BATMAN DOESN’T KILL PEOPLE, EVEN IF HE DID IN, LIKE, EVERY OTHER MOVIE, EVER! HE NEEDS TO BE NICER! AND BATMAN V SUPERMAN SUCKED! IT WAS TOO DARK, AND SUPERMAN MIGHT HAVE SAVED PEOPLE, BUT HE WASN’T HAPPY ABOUT IT! NEEDS MORE JOKES! AND BVS WAS TOO LONG AND BORING! ALSO, YOU’RE DOING JUSTICE LEAGUE? AQUAMAN IS SO LAME! HE TALKS TO FISH AND SWIMS A LOT! HE’S A MEME! LOL! WONDER WOMAN WAS AWESOME, DON’T WORRY ABOUT HER!”

DC: “OKAY. LET’S MAKE JUSTICE LEAGUE SUPER LIGHT AND FUN AND SO FRENETIC THAT THE AUDIENCE WILL FEEL LIKE A KID WITH ADHD TRYING TO FOLLOW IT! BATMAN CAN BE A JOKE, SUPERMAN WILL BE HAPPY, AND AQUAMAN WILL BE A SUPER BADASS DRUNKEN BARBARIAN DUDEBRO WHO IS TATTED TO THE MAX, FAM!”

Like, I hate to say it, and I blame WB full-stop for a ton of it, but I also feel like the entitlement complexes that fandoms have developed post-Internet has drastically compounded the problem. It seems like all WB is concerned about is throwing **** at the wall, seeing what sticks, and then course correcting and trying to piecemeal together something that works. Stop worrying so much, stop overcompensating, and focus on making good ****ing movies. Wonder Woman seemed like the only one where they did their own thing without trying to compensate for previous efforts and it was the only one that worked.

I don’t know what’s so difficult, really. Rather than looking at everything people hated about Superman Returns, look at everything people loved about Reeve, and stick to that. I look at Aquaman and I think he’s cool as hell without the ******** biker schtick. Even if he isn’t, the world he inhabits is. You have mythological aspects with Atlantis, some Shakespearean level human drama with the two brothers vying for the throne, and superheroes; it could be Game of Thrones level **** if they played their cards right.

WB is just chasing the almighty dollar. Each film is a knee-jerk reaction to fix what people didn't like about the previous film in hopes that it all clicks with the general audience so they make more money. They don't give a **** about the fans and aren't listening to the good or bad comments from them. They need to get a talented group of people that understand the property and let them do their thing. If WB could capture the essence of the animated shows and early animated movies, then they would make a **** ton of money in the theater. The last few films are just full of bad choices that should have never been made: mopey Superman, Letoker, dude bro Aquaman, etc. Going straight for The Dark Knight Returns and then cramming the Doomsday storyline into one film is ********. Make better ****ing choices and stop trying to play catch up with Marvel. Just make good movies and the money will follow.

Deep down he knows he's a piece of **** that doesn't deserve to be in that group. He's just wondering why he's there. :lol

Leto looks so confused. :rotfl

GD that crap just brought a tear to my eye! :rotfl

That’s pretty slick! What did you use to make that?

It's a Foldio360. I got it with the Kickstarter bundle for my lightbox. It's a cool little gadget, but I'm having trouble connecting it to my DSLR camera. I'm having to use my iPhone and don't like the quality so far. For some reason the pics turn out grainy when using their app with the turntable. It's probably something I'm doing wrong. I just haven't had time to really figure out how to use it right.

[ It proposed that users flood the aggregation site with negative audience reviews — thus bringing down its overall score — as a means of sticking it to Disney, which it claims uses its media clout to unfairly net its Marvel properties positive critical writeups — as well as to pressure journalists into unjustly slamming DC Comics-based movies

WTF? Is this still a thing? Remember the Dark Knight Rises Rotten Tomatoes controversy where extremist fanboys made death threats? Why is it when a DC movie is unfavorably reviewed, people summon the word "conspiracy"? Who's out there to get DC and their unquestionably fine works of cinema? Mickey Mouse? This is why we can't have good things, because crap is good enough for these fanboys.

I'm sure there are petty Marvel fans slamming DC films just because they've chosen their side, but DC films more than earned their fair share of negative reviews. I don't know why anyone puts any stock in these review sites anyway. You know both companies have employees posting positive reviews for their films--and sure, probably negative ones for their competition. Companies do that **** on Amazon all the time. I miss the days when movie studios had to make a kick *** trailer to compel you to get out and see their movie or depend on word of mouth. Back then, a film could be in the theaters for months trying to earn every penny they could. Now, the majority of films make their main box office in the first week, or maybe the first two weeks, then the studio gears up the advertising for the digital and blu ray formats and gets ready to **** out their next **** film.

Absolutely. Word of mouth would always be the bigger influence as it has been since the dawn of cinema. You can skew with reviews all you want but at the end of the day, public scrutiny will decide if a film is indeed worthy of praise and admiration.

These DC (or Marvel) fans who are calling for a movement (or crying foul of "conspiracy") are getting it all wrong. Don't you want a modern DC movie that's as good as the Donner Superman or The Dark Knight? Aren't you doing a massive disservice to the characters by rewarding mediocre, half baked efforts? The only way for DC movies to reclaim their former glory is when the bad movies don't sell tickets anymore, and that's not happening by crying out conspiracies.

Just started watching this again. Love. This. Show.

I do too. It’s one of my all time favorites. I was actually thinking of watching it again. I saw a marathon for it on tv but didn’t want to start in the middle so I’ll crack open the blu rays soon.

You never realize how great B.B. was until you watch some other series you think is good.....follow by a B.B. episode.....

I am enjoying season 1 of Justified.....but caught about 10 minutes of B.B. and it made me feel like JUSTIFED just wasn’t that good...

Like having a scoop of vanilla, and then hot fudge sundae come your way....

Seriously I’m the same way. I started watching Godless on Netflix (decent show). The. One day I saw B.B. on and watched the first episode...hooked immediately. On season 2 now.
