my red coat version is still in it's prison cell... sold the 2 pack! lol

At least you got a great deal on the set so selling it was probably easy. I feel bad for leaving it boxed for so long. The figures turned out great and came with a nice amount of accessories. I want to get the Lector figures if they turn out the same way. I’m just not sure about the arms on them. It’s weird that they’re giving them replaceable arms instead of making them articulated.

I can't believe how excited I am to get this pinball machine. I haven't been this excited about a purchase since I bought my endoskeleton.

Congrats Zod! I’ve never played one because they’ve never had one where I grew up. I wish I could buy a genuine arcade cabinet someday though.

How did he not have a line? He was excellent. I'd totally go see him. That is kind of sad though. Same thing for Ernie Hudson at a few cons; not many people in line. Must be a racist thing :monkey3

I would love to meet Ernie, but I remember the days before these folk started charging for autographs....so it’s just against my principals to pay to meet someone. Dunno why.

So depending on how much Ernie was charging, I might have visited if it was cheap....

Maybe he’s charging people too much per minute.

I ****ing LOVE pinball--especially if you find a machine that you "click" with. I thought about looking at an arcade cabinet, but pinball won out. I know they make those cabinets with a ton of games included so at least you can have options of what you play instead of just getting a specific one. I'd definitely want the basics that I grew up with--Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Joust, Centipede, Galaga, etc.

What I haven’t done could fill a book.. wait, did I said that out loud? :lol

maybe it's just because i grew up and it was in every arcade... they still are pumping out amazing machines. we were hitting this star wars table a couple weeks back at unlimited pinball... its like a video game with all the bells and whistles in it... video screens showing movie clips, all kinds of special effects... amazing!!

honestly man, just make a video game machine with a raspberry pi 3. you can find all the roms for games all over the place. and finally you can get that 3d printer in gear and start making a case for it and connect up to your tv... all sorts of time killing at your finger tips with a 1000 old skool video games directly from the arcade!!

I think Hudson was charging $40 for an autograph at the last convention I saw him. That's just about the minimum price these people are charging now. Sometimes you can find someone charging $30, but it's rare.

My 3D printer is a piece of ****. It starts printing fine then at some point whatever it's printing comes loose from the base and the whole thing is ****ed. I think I've printed a couple little things as a test that printed out ok, but anything substantial gets ****ed up. It's one of those Micro 3D printers that was really cheap so I probably shouldn't be surprised.

what are you using on the bed plate to hold the prints down? and is the bed heated?

The bed isn't heated. There's nothing on the bed plate at all. The printer just starts putting down plastic and is fine for awhile. I think the plastic starts warping as it cools and comes away from the bed. I don't even know if there's a heated bed for this printer yet. I'll have to check it out.

if you are using PLA, put some painters tape down evenly on the bed. should help. also since its not heated, you can try hitting it with some of that purple to clear glue stick... hit it with a hair dryer to get it white... then print. it'll stick better with that.

I'll try the glue stick and see what happens. Thanks!

its an easy thing to try. pull up youtube and watch some vids on glue sticks and 3d prints. it'll show you best way to apply it. should help for sure as nothing down on the bed is almost always gonna F up the prints.

Got the pinball machine delivered :rock but had to go back to work. I played it for a bit just to make sure everything works and had to tear myself away. I'm pretty sure I know how I'll be spending every lunch hour for now on.
