I forgot to mention that I finally got the Zod and Jor-El LEGO figures. I think I have almost all of the new minifigures from the latest series, but those were the only two I really cared about.

and a '66 tv show Batcave

You can get both of them now.

The Lego Batman movie cave is decent but needs a few mods. I don't care for the suits and replaced those with better versions in his armory.

I bought the '66 Batcave but haven't put it together yet. I need a decent-sized LEGO nook in my house to build them and then put them on display. I keep thinking about building a new house instead of trying to find a bigger one, but at the rate I keep adding "necessary" rooms to the design, I won't be able to afford to build the damn thing.

Oh, I emailed Hot Toys through their comment option on their website. I asked them if they were going to make more Superman and Superman II figures--gave them examples of what I liked and what I hoped for. This was their response:



Why don't you go **** yourself HT? Not that I'm expecting insider news or anything, but they could at least give me a solid "no" or "we're working on it".

I might have to just ask random questions on there that have nothing to do with HT and see if I get the same response.

I was surprised they even bothered to answer with a canned response. HT has been notorious for horrible communication with customers.

can't believe how expensive the SS bare bones figures have gotten!
the new classic batman at $220 with basically no accessories besides a batarang?? why so dam expensive?? and where are all the other figures at? how many batmans in a row can they pump out?

I'll never buy a Sideshow figure again. 4 out of 5 of my SS figures had issues, with two of them were being intentionally shipped by them with flaws!

Strangely enough, the one that I didn't had any issue whatsoever was the one people had grievances the most- the 1/6 Snake Plissken. Mine was beautifully painted. I've said it before, but with Sideshow, it's always a gamble.

It's unbelievable to me that Sideshow has made so many Batman figures when there are so many other characters they could make. Then they have the audacity to call two batarangs an "arsenal". This is what you used to get for $200 from Sideshow--not a ton of accessories but still more than what we're getting with the new one.

it really is amazing how the prices are going on all this SS stuff. i just dont see how it can sustain its existence. these prices are what you expect to get heavy accessories and crazy intricate suits, etc. this barebone outfit and a batarang nonsense is ridiculous!

It's not even that long ago. HT is creeping up to $250 for the standard MMS.

I remember right before I started collecting, figures ran a little under $200 for HT and they came with a ton of stuff.

I bet accessory purchases have gone up over the last few years on sites like Toy Anxiety and eBay since HT and Sideshow aren't including very many with their figures.

DOFP Wolverine = $250 for like four hands and a stand.

Ridiculous.

Derp John Matrix is the last HT I got that came with a nice amount of stuff, and all stuff you can use on the figure.
