I’m not gonna lie. I really like it, but seeing that price tag was a bit jarring. Part of me wonders if I shouldn’t say “**** it” and order two, though. I’d imagine once it sells out, the second one could probably cover the first one and more the way the Mezcult operates.

Ready Player One got me wanting a representation of grandaddy Gundam a bit more upmarket than my Robot Damashii figures. Think I found what I was looking for in this GFF Metal Composite version.

I thought about picking up that Darkseid until I saw the pricetag. Too rich for my blood for what you get. I'll ust have to be happy with my hot toys Thanos that i need to pre order.

I know I'll end up ordering it. I've been impatiently waiting for them to put it up for preorder since I first saw it at SDCC. I was just expecting it to be around $120 due to the size and light up feature. I never would have guessed they'd jack the price up $100 over their normal figure price.

It being made of polystone is a massive red flag, honestly. One bad tumble and you have a $180 pile of dust.

I'm actually surprised Voltron didn't show up in the film, seems like an obvious choice to include for 80's nostalgia. Dreamworks are the people behind Legendary Defender, Spielberg was one of the founding members, surely it couldn't have been hard to swing a deal between them and Toei?

Very sharp indeed bar some paint slop on the faceplate I had to fix. Very nearly a perfect figure, even more amazing considering it's a toy from 2011.
