I'm ready for any technological advancement that would enable me to stay home instead of dealing with retail people. I need a full-on Star Trek replicator. :lol

It's the Gundam Fix Figuration Metal Composite Version Ka (try saying that three times fast) #1009 Gundam the Origin version. Price is usually around ¥14,000 on the Japanese aftermarket, there's also two different releases with slightly different packaging, one from 2011 and one from 2015. It's 1/100 scale, so about ~8" I think?

Here it is next to a Robot Damashii figure, it's quite substantial by comparison. The engineering is insane, the inner structure is almost entirely metal with mechanical joints. It also comes with a crazy amount of accessories - two bazookas, two different rifles, armour parts to make three different variations from the different stages of the Origin manga, four beam sabers, different v-fins, etc.

so i pulled the trigger on the mega scale RX-78-2... wanted one that was big... and 15" is perfect! i've never done a gundam before... looking forward to getting this guy! so with the iron giant i am making... i'll need a small scale delorean and then will have a perfect ready player one shelf!

Those phone cases are awesome, Zod! And congrats on the Darkseid print. I was really debating it because I absolutely love the current Mister Miracle series it’s from, but I figured I should probably refrain until I can cover the ridiculous amount I spent on Batman prints.:lol

And your stands are beautiful, Pro Design. I look forward to seeing your completed Infinity Gauntlet base.

thx bud... just waiting on materials to get a final acrylic version made...

f-that dude... i need a phaser set to vaporize!

God, that would be glorious. Did he ever do a version of the Detective #27 cover? It’d be cool to have the two matching prints, if he were to produce one.

I don’t think he has—though it seems like a no-brainer that he would have done one. Maybe he has it tucked away for release later. I know it took years to get the art for Action Comics #1 as a print. I think the only time I’ve seen the art was in his Mythology book. Mine is tucked away somewhere or I’d flip through it again.

It’s pretty good. Not best movie ever. But pretty decent. All the trolls are mad people like it and trying to find stuff to hate about it. :lol

It’s basically part 1

I keep trying to watch Justice League again (probably because some part of my brain knows that I'm supposed to like it), but I can't sit through the whole thing. I alternate between being mad and disappointed until I just turn it off. I liked the resurrection scene and a couple moments here and there, but overall the entire movie feels like a waste of time. I like the majority of the Marvel films because I'm not as invested in the characters so I can just enjoy them for what they are, and even I'm excited for what Marvel has done with Infinity War. However, I'm afraid I'm going to sit there watching it while getting more and more pissed that DC couldn't get their **** together and pull off the same thing. The Justice League getting together to fight Darkseid should be the comic book event film of this generation. Instead, they ****ed everything up so that even if they do make it they probably won't have the same actors in the roles, Batman would probably be cracking jokes in the middle of the fight, and they'll probably "Doomsday" Darkseid to the point where he's unrecognizable.

I added to my server when I got it, figuring it couldn’t be that bad....especially after BvsS ... I was wrong.....

It’s been deleted off the server and sold the disc....

I found it near unwatchable.....

Just saw infinity war. What Darkseid could have been.

we were talking about going sometime in the near future, but i am amazed how much it is already sold out for week or 2 around town! gotta feeling this flick is gonna pull in mega bucks!

I'm not sure when I'll see Infinity War, but I'm looking forward to it. I still haven't seen Black Panther though so I may hold off on IW until after I've seen it.

I'd say wait and see BP first... from the trailer, looks like there is info from that flick that would be worth seeing prior. Plus it'll give it time to die down and not be a zoo trying to see it thru the wave of idiots talking and cell phones!!

we watched JL on bluray the other day. it was as bad as everyone said it was. the old lady is much more tolerant of these types of flicks as she doesn't know or really care about the historical stuff... so she likes them more for the unplugging mode and popcorn level. she also said it wasn't that great. and dam that mustache debacle on supes... what a train wreck! :slap

Justice League's quality was on par with something you'd see on the SyFy channel. From the acting, to the effects, it was all crap. Absolute garbage movie.

I just hope they get Batman, and Superman back on track, and that's not going to happen with either Affleck or Cavill. I hope they are both gone. Bother characters desperately need a fresh start.

Yeah, I was saying to my daughter (who makes fun of JL all the time now) that Lost In Space is a better production...

That mega-sized model looks great, I've been thinking about picking up the Real Grade RX-78-2 which is also based on the life-size statue design they seemed to be following to the letter in RPO. I've got the RG Zephyranthes from 0083 Stardust Memory in the mail right now, will see how I cope with that first.

I keep thinking I should watch it, I enjoyed Man of Steel more than most people and even found some redeeming qualities in BvS. JL just looks unbelievably awful though, and I squarely blame Joss Whedon and whoever made the boneheaded decision to have him retool the movie at the 11th hour for that.

OK, if it's that much of a trainwreck I guess I have to watch it :lol

I enjoyed MoS even those there are a few things I hated about it—tornadocide being the worst offender. It’s by far my favorite of the new DC films. JL was just a dramatic shift in tone and it dropped the stuff built up in BvS so there is zero payoff to the story. The DC fan in me desperately wants to like JL, but it failed on so many levels that I can’t get through it again. You have to watch it just for the spectacle of it though.
