I never gamble for anyone—if what they want loses but I come back a winner then there’s drama. :lol

Back at work today. I was ready to get out of Vegas, but I feel like I need a day to mentally prepare myself for getting back to the grind. I hate coming back to work after being away for a few days. There's always a ton of **** on my desk that I have to go through, and I spend the first day or two back figuring out what everyone ****ed up while I was gone and trying to fix it.

I checked in here quickly a couple times while I was gone, but it doesn't look like I missed anything. Nothing cool has been released and the movie threads are still the prostate cancer of the board.

I love the Green With Envy PF. This new one doesn't show off the sexiness of Poison Ivy. She looks like she has vines growing out of her butt and junk.

Looks like you need to start firing some people

I'd love to get rid of a couple people, but the hiring pool here is weak. We've been interviewing people for a clerk position and I can't believe how the people we've seen have been dressed and acted for an interview. They have no education, **** job experience, and zero people skills and want $15 an hour for an entry position that starts at $10. Some people have walked in wearing baseball hats, leggings, shorts, tank tops, etc. One girl brought her kids with her. :slap

i do feel bad for the girl with the kids, probably had no one to leave them with,

I did too, but as an employer, her bringing her kids showed me was that daycare was going to be a problem. It's tough to find someone around here that doesn't have kids--one of the biggest reasons my employees miss work is because their kids are sick. However, if you're a mother trying to get a job then you need to have a plan for your kids before you walk in for the interview. I have people coming in for a job that's advertised as 9-6, but they waste my time because they need a job where they get off at 3 so they can pick their kids up from school.

There's an entire generation out there right now that has grown up so selfish and self-absorbed that they are completely unprepared to hear the word "no". They expect future employers to accommodate them regardless of what the business needs. All they know is they need a job and they're special so they should get hired--but they can't work that job if it's not exactly what they want under the terms they want. Well good luck with that ****. You know how many **** jobs I've worked in my life? :lol I grew up knowing that when you're broke, you work--period. You find a job and work your *** off to keep that job so you keep getting paid so you can pay your bills. Some times in your life you'll live paycheck-to-paycheck, and you know you have to sacrifice other things so that your bills are paid. Then, hopefully your hard work pays off and you get a promotion/raise. That mentality has almost completely disappeared in my area. People want a ton of money immediately, don't want to work when they don't want to work (but then want to complain that they don't have any money when they don't work), and are always looking for a job that will start out at more money per hour instead of working their way up in the job they already have.
