I may not get a chance to play much this week since I'm going to finish the third season of Batman Beyond first. I'll definitely get started on the first one this weekend though. I was surprised Hastings had one left since their game section was really picked over.

So there was no copy of Uncharted 4? Probably just wait for another sale since each game in the Nate collection would take you about 15-20 hours each.
I'll start Batman Beyond binge watching this weekend, I honestly can't wait since it's been awhile since I've watched it. :rock

No copy of Uncharted 4, but like you said, it will take me awhile to get through the first three.

I've really enjoyed watching Batman Beyond again. Half the fun is rediscovering all the voice talent that was on the show.

My local Barnes & Noble had a set of Batman: Deep Freeze and Mask of the Phantasm on DVD for $13.00. I figured it was a good time to upgrade from my VHS copies.

How's Batman Beyond?

I think it's fantastic, but I've always loved it. It's interesting to see how they tied in some of the old school characters with what the current Batman deals with. The stories are concise but well done and you'd be surprised to hear some of the people that did voice work for it. It's well worth giving a shot and The Return of the Joker movie is one of my absolute favorites.

I remember I cherry picked through episodes I thought sounded good when it was on Netflix. One of these days I'm hoping Costco will get the full set so I can properly watch it, start to finish. Return of the Joker is great, too.

You mean the show or the quality of the DVD?

The show itself as Zod said, is pretty damn awesome and if you haven't seen it, you owe it to yourself to do so. The DVDs, well there are each individual seasons for sale and there's also a "The Complete Animated Series" that has everything plus a bonus disc, coffee table book and an attractive packaging, though it seems it's getting more expensive by the day.

The quality of the DVD transfer itself is serviceable. The show has never been available in HD so this is the best quality you can get and don't expect WB to bring more DCAU shows to bllu ray since most of them are traditionally animated which means an extensive restoration (and a huge budget) would be in order.

Phew, that is one long ass explanation for just one question!

I just wish WB would release Mask of the Phantasm on blu ray already. I get that they won't do it for BTAS, but MOTP is a theatrical release so all they need to do is release the prints. People have been asking for it since forever!

I mainly meant how the actual show is since I haven't seen enough of it to judge, but both of those answers were good to know. I'll have to check through some ebay prices for it.

I am a sucker for attractive packaging... :monkey3

This is the complete box set, I bought one in 2012 and Zod just got one. If you can find one at a price you're happy with, this is the better set all around:

I don't understand why they haven't released it on blu ray yet either.

This set is awesome. I've seen the price from a little over $100 to just under $200, depending on who has it available on eBay. I've had an order with Amazon for it since October 2014 that still hasn't been fulfilled and may never be. I finally broke down and bought one on eBay because I got tired of waiting.

I hated how they changed catwomans look from the first seasins to the later ones

Yeah, her BTAS design was miles better imo, and the same can be said for most of the characters :monkey2
Didn't they get rid of her blonde hair too?

Did TAS ever come out on Blu Ray, or is it just that DVD boxset?

Nope, and unlikely it ever will anytime because the amount of extensive restoration needed. You can either get the individual volumes for cheap, or that sweet ass collectors edition that's long sold out. Still banging my head that I missed it!

Also, if any of you find this set for "cheap", keep in mind there are bootleg versions floating around eBay and Amazon.

Batman The Animated Series complete seasons is free on Amazon Prime to watch at the moment. I'm enjoying it. :)

Honestly you'll think your playing a movie and really good one Zod. 3's story is iffy imho, but 4 redeemed the lost charm since 2.
