great news!! i just watched the first one earlier and i still cant believe how people can say they weren't impressed with this movie.
~~ is there a link where i can find this???

I really only liked the first half. It actually got way too cartoony when they met up with Mr. Blue and on from there.

It was really good descision to mask the first few transformations, the first was in a dark warehouse and the second he jumped out from that smoke-filled bridge. When Banner was strapped down and transformed, I thought the animating and directing was really cheesy. That combined with Liv Tyler's acting made for an okay movie. Nothing I'd be rushing to watch again.

I loved the transformation in this one, it felt as if the Hulk was ripping/exploding out of Banner’s skin. You could see the pain of the transformation in his face, which only added to his anger.

Don't forget the green veins! :rock :rock :rock

i enjoyed inc hulk. however, i really wish marvel would release a directors cut, with all the deleted scenes inserted back into the film. as i was watching the movie, i felt that it was missing certain things. if they put all the scenes back in, it'll def bump the movie from enjoyable to awesome.

looking forward to the sequel!

Yeah, I wish they came out with Edward Norton's Cut.

I saw it last night and was very impressed. I had followed the Hulk comics when I was a kid (in the 80s) and I think this version was very faithful to the tone. I also liked that it added the best of the TV show--the isolation and fugitive-on-the-run aspects. I like how this and Iron Man took the source material very seriously and handled it with respect.

I never understood why, for a long while, Hollywood thought that because it's a "comic book" movie, everything had to be bright and light-hearted and goofy! Part of it was probably because of the Batman TV show. And the other annoying cliche in comic book movies: the funny villain--which I blame Gene Hackman for. I mean, yeah, his portrayal was an irreverent take on the bad guy. I can appreciate what he was trying to do. But come on! Does everyone else have to do the same thing? (I'm looking at you, Willem Dafoe and Julian McMahon!) Don't even get me started on Michael Clarke Duncan's Kingpin!

We're finally getting some good movies (with a few exceptions) that really capture the heart of their source materials. We've also gotten some clunkers, but I'm glad that they revisited the Hulk so quickly after the Ang Lee version to try and make something worthy of the character and the 40 years of storytelling.

Can't wait for the sequel and the Avengers!

You think they won't? Studios can't seem to be able to resist a second (or third or fourth) trip to the well with revised and updated home video releases.

Be patient, I bet you get it.

Tim Blake Nelson on Incredible Hulk 2
In the sequel news today, Tim Blake nelson is ready to take on the role of The Leader in the next installment of the Hulk. MTV News sat down with him and they had a good back and forth about the future of the next film, who's going to come back for the sequel, and other goodies. Only thing that truly worries me about the whole Hulk franchise is another switch in the Bruce Banner character. It just kills the movies credibility from the get go.

These days, the talented writer/director/actor is in a dark editing bay assembling “Leaves of Grass,” a quirky 2009 drama that features Edward Norton in a dual performance. Nelson told us that during the shooting of “Leaves,” he and Norton sometimes spoke about their recent blockbuster experience, but he still can’t say with confidence that Norton will return following his rumored falling-out with Marvel Studios.

“We talked about [‘Hulk’] a little bit, yeah; we made some jokes about it,” Nelson remembered. “It’s all good, and I really do hope [the sequel] happens, for all sorts of reasons. But yeah, we did, we had a great time on ‘Hulk’ together. I’m eager to do ‘Hulk 2’ if they make it.”

But with stars like Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson continuing to talk themselves up for 2011’s epic “Avengers” flick, and Hulk expected to be a character in that film, Norton has become suspiciously tight-lipped on the topic of future adventures as Bruce Banner. So, with each passing month, it seems more likely that the next Hulk appearance will replace him with another actor just as he did with Eric Bana.

“I feel Edward and I are well-suited for one another. It’s really fun collaborating with him, and he made these characters [in ‘Hulk’ and ‘Leaves’] better,” explained Nelson, revealing that although he’d prefer not to, he would return even if Norton is removed from the series.

“Well, I’m signed on to do ‘Hulk 2’ and ‘3’ whether Edward’s there or not, so it’s not even up to me,” he explained. “When I agreed to do ‘Hulk,’ I signed off for two sequels, so it’s a moot question. I certainly hope Edward is on the sequel — but that’s up to Marvel and Edward.”
Either way, whenever Marvel and Gale Ann Hurd come calling for the “Hulk” sequel, Tim Blake Nelson says he’s fully prepared to show off his great big brain. “Oh, I already did [research into The Leader] when I was doing [Dr. Samuel] Sterns, because I felt that it would be helpful to lay in stuff as Sterns for what The Leader would be,” he explained of the super-intelligent baddie with a desire to take over the world. “So, that was all part of doing Sterns.”

hulk 2 and 3, can't wait:banana:banana
maybe now we'll see some good movie merchandise.

Yea, enough of those talking, screaming neon green Hasbro toys, we need a 1/4 scale quality figure. Not to mention we need a good pf considering Koto's dissapointing one...

That story with Norton might be or might not be Hulk is getting old for me. Put another person as Bruce Banner. It shouldn't matter. All I like is the Hulk beating the crap out of everybody.

Tim Roth Signs on for 'Hulk' Sequels
January 8, 2009

Tim Roth still on bored for Hulk sequels. According to SciFiWire.com Roth told a group of reporters that he is signed for sequels and open to returning. Considering how his character in the film Abomination is captured at the end this is good news.

Yeah, they've got me for three," Roth said in a group interview on Monday, Jan. 5, in Culver City, Calif., on the set of his new Fox drama Lie to Me. "If we do one," he added.

A script for a sequel is still in the works, but Roth said that if director Louis Leterrier remains with the franchise, he is likely to be happy with whatever role he gives Abomination.

"I liked working with Louis very much, so if he's up to anything, I'll probably jump in with him," Roth said.

Roth's commitment to Lie to Me still leaves him open to make films during the hiatuses, as he already has. "Between the pilot and when we started, I did one, and then in the hiatus I'm going to do one as well," he said. "So I'll be in and out of film. Then they'll let us know at some point in February if we're going to carry on doing this."

Exclusive: Edward Norton Addresses the Marvel Issues
Source: Edward Douglas March 13, 2010

A few years ago, actors Edward Norton and Tim Blake Nelson appeared together in Louis Letterier's The Incredible Hulk. Not many people realized that Norton was partially responsible for bringing Nelson on board for the role of Samuel Sterns, as the two had already been working together on a couple of movies, the one that came to fruition being Nelson's original comedy Leaves of Grass in which Norton plays a dual role of two very different identical twins.

Earlier today, ComingSoon.net/SuperHeroHype had a chance to talk with the duo about the movie, and since we hadn't really spoken with Norton for some time--well before he was cast in the Marvel Studios movie--we wanted to ask him about the current status of his relationship with the studio, especially since all their individual movies seem to be building to The Avengers, in which the Hulk is rumored to be one of the villains. For those unaware, Norton had some issues with the final cut of Louis Letterier's movie, which he had co-written, but when asked in the years since then, he has been somewhat dismissive of the idea of returning.

When asked today whether he has had any communication with Marvel since then, Norton's response was cheerfully optimistic about things working themselves out. "Yeah, to some degree, through my agents," he told us, "But there's always been an agenda I think to unspool a lot of the Marvel Universe and then come back... I think they've got a lot of new stuff that they're rolling out and then I think at some point they're going to figure out how they want to get around to 'Avengers.'"

"The main guy I had a beef with there left anyways, as always happens," he admitted. "As David Mamet said, 'Just wait 'em out cause they'll be gone, and you'll still be there.'"

Wise man, that David Mamet.

Look for our full interview with the duo sometime later this month over on ComingSoon.net before Leaves of Grass opens in select cities on April 2.

They need to do more Hulk movies..and one day make a Planet Hulk live action movie..:rock
